We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

KW Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Palo Alto, CA
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $500

I’m a Bay Area photographer drawn to honest, unscripted moments. My background in journalism shapes how I approach weddings and events — paying attention to the small details, the quiet interactions, and the in-between moments that tell the real story of a day. I aim to photograph celebrations in a way that feels natural, thoughtful and true to the people in them.

Choosing the right wedding photographer was one of the most important decisions we made for our special day. From the start, KW Photography stood out with her clear, responsive, and thoughtful communication style. Kathryn delivered an honest, insightful, engaging, and visually striking set of photos that perfectly captured the essence of our love. As someone who has always been nervous in front of the camera, Kathryn made me feel comfortable and confident, ensuring the final pictures felt truly representative of my partner and me. We could not have asked for a better photographer to entrust with our most cherished memories - Kathryn delivered tenfold, providing us with photographs we will treasure for a lifetime.

Audey Shen Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Palo Alto, CA
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $10,500

Hi, I’m Audey, pronounced like Audrey but without the R! Inspired by heart, those closest to us, and always chasing the spirit of adventure, I believe your love story is one-of-a-kind, and the way it’s remembered should be too. My approach blends candid Photojournalism with a Fine Art approach. I aim to capture the moments that you share with your loved ones, all while capturing the beautiful surroundings that will become part of your family's visual legacy. Whether it's an intimate ceremony under the redwoods or a celebration across the world, I would love to document the beauty, joy, and quiet magic of it all.

Audey did a FANTASTIC job with both our engagement photos and our city hall wedding ceremony photos. When I got in contact with her, we chatted about any ideas I had in terms of locations and poses, but she was also incredibly helpful in prompting us to think about what we wanted out of our shoots. She's able to scout locations super quickly once at the destination and is a true pro at being able to get the shot. We took our engagement photos at Lands End and Golden Gate Park on an absolutely freezing day (another normal day in SF haha) and Audey helped us get through the shoot quickly and successfully! She directed us through all of the poses and made us feel super comfortable and relaxed with her. We were even able to squeeze in some last minute unplanned shots that actually turned out so beautiful. For SF city hall, she truly is a miracle worker because nobody had guessed that there were several other couples also milling around the rotunda based on the outstanding shots she was able to take. I had no idea it was her first time shooting SF city hall since she navigated it like a pro! Overall, I truly love Audey's photography style and her professionalism and I'm so grateful she was able to help us capture these memories. If you're looking for someone who can really bring out the best in you through photography, Audey is your gal!

I’ve always been inspired by the strong, ambitious women in my life who built successful small businesses in the hospitality industry — from restaurant owners and bakers to caterers and florists. Growing up surrounded by their entrepreneurial spirit, I was motivated to follow my own path and create something meaningful in the world of events. After spending two years working as a Wedding Coordinator at the Westin, the pandemic hit and forced a pause on hotel weddings. That unexpected turn of events only fueled my determination to turn my passion into a full-time business. And so, Kaci Danae Events was born.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I hired Kaci as our wedding day-of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were able to enjoy our day without stressing about anything and trusted Kaci to handle all of the details that we envisioned. She was so calm, cool, and collected through all of our meetings and was able to calm my nerves on the wedding day too. She was so sweet, listened to the things we wanted, and her organization and communication made her a great coordinator for us. Would recommend Kaci to anyone looking for a coordinator!

Thalia Moshtagh Photography
Rating: 5.0 (27 reviews)
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,200
  • Serves Palo Alto, CA

Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

Awarded Best of Zola
From our very first meeting over Zoom with Thalia, I knew we’d made the right choice. Her chipper, upbeat, and lighthearted personality made us feel at ease immediately. We had the pleasure of working with Thalia for our engagement photos, our wedding, and my sister’s wedding. Each time, she was a master at combining carefully curated poses with beautifully captured candids that embodied the spirit of the event and of the couples at the center. Thalia skillfully posed us in ways that photographed beautifully and didn’t feel awkward in the moment—my husband and I were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time. Thalia has a true gift for composition and what initially drew me to her was the moodier vibe of the photography style. With that said, she knows when to play it up and when to tone it down and allow the natural vibrancy of the moment take center stage. In every opportunity, Thalia delivered a stunning variety of photos within her advertised timeframe. Her prices are extremely fair for the work she delivers, and my family and I immediately ordered multiple prints and albums from her very user-friendly website. I can’t recommend Thalia highly enough—if you’re looking for a photographer to take your special event to the next level and create memories to last a lifetime, you’ll be ecstatic you chose Thalia.

Natasha's Treats
Rating: 5.0 (24 reviews)
  • Cakes & desserts
  • Serves Palo Alto, CA

Raised in Ukraine, I grew up loving the delectable European cakes my mother would bake from scratch. This experience cultivated my love for sweets and baking, and taught me to appreciate desserts that offer both exceptional flavor and just the right amount of sweetness.

Awarded Best of Zola
It is truly an understatement to say I love cake. It is actually my weakness! So when I was searching for a bakery or baker to make my wedding cake, I really wanted to make sure I was not only going to love the look and taste of it but also choose someone that is actually passionate about it. I reached out to so many places and no one responded so kindly and promptly like Natasha. It is no doubt that her work is impeccable (what you see in pictures does not do justice to how even MORE beautiful it is in person), but her communication throughout the process and commitment to executing your vision is incomparable to other bakeries and bakers. I had a very intimate/small wedding (15 people), and other bakers made me feel like my event wasn't worth their time and effort to make, but Natasha was so sweet and kind - made me feel like she genuinely wanted to make our day special. I especially loved that she offered a cake tasting for us even though we were only ordering a small 2-Tier cake. Other bakers refused to do a tasting unless I was intending to spend over 700. All of the flavors she offered were SOOOOO good! It was tough to choose one but we are beyond satisfied with the berry shortcake flavor Everyone at my wedding was so impressed by the cake. So clean, chic and timeless. She truly executed my vision from just the one inspiration picture. Unfortunately I did not get any clear pictures of the cake due to the dim lighting in the restaurant . My guests were also amazed how moist and tasty it was too (make sure to follow her recommendation to serve cake at room temperature to enjoy at its full potential). You can really feel the love, time and effort she puts into her work!!! A TRUE TALENT. She was very honest and reasonable when it came to pricing as well! I definitely plan to work with her again for future events

Jess made my absolute dream wedding florals come true! After our initial consult, she sent me a beautifully pieced together PDF of her ideas/vision for the florals which must have taken her so much time. We discussed any changes, and then signed the contract. She was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire wedding process which made my life as a bride so much easier. On the day of the wedding, she was there early and had her set-up process down to a schedule. I have to say, the florals were absolutely stunning and had my guests asking for the name of my florist. I feel that her work was truly worth more than what I paid for and I appreciate everything that she did so much. I don't know how to give more than 5 stars but I would if I could!

Saratoga springs is a breathtaking venue. I absolutely loved my space. The staff are caring, communicative, detailed and super easy to work with. We used the Redwood Grove space. It is secluded and intimate. Beautifully covered in trees. The space is amazing and green and so earthy. The staff sets up your space and pulls down your space (if hired). They pay amazing attention to detail and were eager to ensure that my space was everything I wanted. The only issue I have is the short amount of time you are allotted to be on site. You cannot get ready there and you only have one hour to explore the venue and take all the pictures on site that you want. Which on a wedding day is chaotic. It would be nice to have more time to explore the space especially for the cost of renting a space. Other than the time constraints everything is organized, and amazing. The food is amazing and we for so many compliments on our food! The space overall is beautiful and is a place I would recommend to anyone with how attentive the staff are.

Honestly. Patricia was fabulous. As the Mother of the Bride, I watched her handle vendors, last minute surprises, and all of our guests with Grace and Professionalism. I never experienced any anxiety and knew that she had absolutely everything under control. My husband and I arrived before anyone else and watched as she seamlessly made sure that everything was done as planned. Her presence was barely noticeable except when needed and then she would almost magically appear anticipating the need. I am so impressed with her skills and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to my closest friends and family.

We had such an amazing experience with our catering team for our wedding! Carla, the owner, was incredibly kind, patient, and so easy to talk to. From day one, she was communicative and very flexible with all the requests I had, which made the entire planning process so much less stressful. One thing we truly appreciated was that they even delivered food to our home during our tastings--it made everything so convenient. The food was already amazing during the tastings, but it was even more incredible on our wedding day. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was! Carla and her team provided exceptional service from start to finish. They were also the only catering team we found who packed up all the leftovers for us, which meant so much since our family stayed at the venue--we got to continue enjoying the food even after the wedding. They also created our wedding cake, which was absolutely beautiful and delicious. We also ordered the raspberry no-bake cheesecake (which I sadly didn't get to try!), but based on how quickly everything disappeared, it was clearly a hit. We only had a few slices of cake left, which says a lot about how much our guests loved everything. We are beyond grateful for Carla and her team for making our wedding day so special. We will definitely be booking them again for future events--highly recommend!

All inclusive was the best way to go! Jennifer and Priscilla was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Even when I added a bunch of things last minute. They were able to help with all my questions. The venue is stunning and packaged vendors were just wonderful. This was my dream wedding. If I could change anything it would be to allow the food to stay out all night or just longer than 90 minutes. Also, if I could have gotten into the bridal suite to actually get my makeup done that would have been a nice touch. But that’s minor. The suite was lovely and spacious enough for my immediate family to do our touch ups and change. The drinks were nice and strong. This was the best day ever!

Bride’s Perspective Our wedding was a candlelit pizza party in the garden—casual, approachable, and elegant all at once. About 80 guests came. The ceremony was under the tree near the entrance. During cocktail hour, some guests (especially families with kids) enjoyed docent-led tours of the house. For dinner, we seated everyone at two long banquet tables on the bricks. While a lot of us were dancing inside, guests also gathered outside around the heaters under blankets we provided. The venue’s gardens and old trees meant we needed very little décor — we went with some DIY Trader Joe’s flowers & lots of candles. When the sun set, the glow from the candles and string lights provided by LAHM was magical. One highlight was cutting the cake at the end of the tables, looking out at our laughing, candlelit guests. We expected warm October weather, but the forecast dipped into the low 60s. Propane heaters worked perfectly, and combined with candles, lights, and blankets, the night felt intimate and warm. We live close to the venue and got ready at home, which turned out to be ideal—relaxed, convenient, and comfortable. Before planning, I imagined a rustic barn wedding, while my husband wanted something elegant. The museum was the perfect balance — and better than either of us pictured. Working with Lisa was wonderful. She was professional, responsive, and calm from the first walkthrough through the end of the night. I enjoyed checking in with her throughout the event, and everything ran smoothly. We trusted her recommendations and appreciated how she coordinated with all our vendors. We joke that if we ever got married again, we’d do it all the same — same space, same people, same Lisa! Groom’s Perspective We knew our venue search was over when we found the Los Altos History Museum. Lisa, the venue coordinator, not only manages a beautiful space but also brings clarity with straightforward policies and transparent pricing, which gave us freedom to design the day exactly how we wanted. The event moved naturally through the property: ceremony under the trees, cocktails near the house, dinner on the bricks, and dancing inside. It felt private but accessible, and the gardens were perfect for photos. My favorite moment was watching the sun set over dinner as candles and string lights took over. Lisa was fantastic — responsive, flexible, and organized. She met with our vendors in advance and made space to store supplies several days ahead of the wedding. She was the first to arrive and last to leave. She even helped pack our car at the end of the night. A few notes for future couples: there’s limited getting-ready space (we used our home, which worked great), tenting for rain can be tricky and expensive, and there’s no commercial kitchen. None were issues for us, and Lisa explained these points to us early so there were no surprises. Thank you Fan and the Fanfare team for bringing our ideas to life and executing beyond our expectations. We met Fan through our friend who used her earlier in the year for her wedding. From our first meeting we could tell that Fan was very receptive to our ideas and was able to provide clear details on what we should expect. She is extremely creative and talented and we felt like we could trust her throughout the process. She worked within our budget and provided alternatives if needed. The end result was beyond PERFECT. We couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. You and your team made the process stress-free and so seamless.
