We booked for both florals and planning. We could not be more grateful to Angel for her unbelievable help. When beginning to plan our wedding, we had some vague ideas of what we liked, but were not completely sure. Despite only advertising as a 3 month planner, Angel helped us from the day we booked with her (a little under a year and a half before our wedding). She recommended amazing vendors, let us run ideas and questions by her at any time, and helped us craft the most beautiful day. We intentionally decided that florals would be lower on our list of priorities and expenses. Angel also does florals through Greenhouse Events, and she showed us beautiful photos and had the most reasonable prices of any florist we had met. I had a few requests for florals: namely, I wanted a few peonies for my bouquet in November, and gave a few other types of flowers I'd love to see. Peonies are not in season in November in North America, so I knew it might be difficult. Flash forward to our wedding: Angel had everything so detailed and organized, and everything moved so seamlessly. She absolutely blew us away with her decor and florals. It probably looked like a wedding that would have spent triple what we actually did on florals based on the STUNNING flowers. When I asked for a few peonies, she delivered literal buckets of peonies. Everyone was talking to us about how stunning the decor was, and we couldn't agree more. Angel really picked up on what we did and didn't like, helped us identify the most important parts of the day, and made sure we felt special and taken care of with little things we wouldn't think of already planned for in advance. She also kept everything running smoothly but in a relaxed way that was not pushy or frustrating for guests, and kept us on schedule while allowing for extra time for things as they came up. We could not recommend Angel any more highly. She is truly a lifesaver and made our day unbelievably special and perfect.

When we say Taylor EXCEEDED our expectations, we truly mean that. From start to finish Taylor was such a calming and supportive presence in our lives. During the planning portion of our event, Taylor communicated with all of our vendors and made sure we were always on the same page. She was organized and had all of our contracts, seating charts, floor plans etc all in one google doc making it extremely easy to follow and stay on track. She was always responsive and answered every single question we could possibly have. As the wedding got closer, we had weekly calls to make sure we tied up any loose ends and that all the vendors were on the same page. The wedding day was beyond perfect. Taylor looked like a boss woman the whole time with her clipboard and made sure that she was keeping everyone in line and on track of time. There were a few times when things didn’t go as planned like having to move the ceremony inside due to rain and changing the floorpan last minute but she handled that with STRIDE. She made all the executive decisions and explained them to us calmly. We trusted that no matter what, she would make the best decision for us in the end and she 100% did! Everything ended up working out better than planned and we will be talking about this day for years to come. At the end of the event, Taylor helped all the vendors pack everything up and out of the venue and made sure that nothing was left behind. We could not recommend her enough as your wedding planner. She is strong, resilient and intelligent. She is organized, reliable and knows exactly what she is doing! You can really see how much she loves what she does and how she strives to be the best she can be every step of the way. Shout out to her assistant Joy for everything she had her hands on, including being so delicate and gentle while steaming my heavy wedding dress and taking some incredible behind the scenes shots of our day and for just being another amazing person to rely on. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!!!!

We had Raquel for 3 month coordination, and words alone cannot express how organized, professional, and seamless Raquel made the three months leading up to and on wedding day. Prior to the start of our coordination with Raquel, she provided us with a very organized, detailed spreadsheet to guide us through the wedding planning process. Raquel was the organization and detail behind every idea I brought to the table and helped to make our vision a reality! Raquel was my coordinator but doubled as my wedding therapist throughout the three months! Any wedding related question we had, Raquel was always there with a very thoughtful and speedy email response. Starting at 5pm the night before our wedding when she led us through our mini walk-through, to walking down the aisle, I felt completely reassured everything would go as smoothly as possible due to Raquel’s expertise! Raquel and her team are the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth that made our day feel seamless. Her team worked effortlessly behind the scenes on the day of our wedding (even running back to my apartment to pick up forgotten ceremony programs and doing so without me even knowing!). They worked their magic and allowed my husband and I to be the guests of honor rather than the hosts. To start, I keep to a gluten-free diet, due to a legitimate health issue. I was given a gluten-free vendor meal. Why do I bring this up? This is a relatively small, seemingly insignificant detail. But I got taken care of. And as a DJ, I noticed all the little details that this planning team knew about. We compared notes and worked efficiently in the background together. All the reminders I got throughout the night, especially concerning announcements, were well-timed and tactful, and I was given trust to speak based on how I read the room. She sent us payment and deadline reminders and even handled tipping vendors on the day of our wedding so we had one less thing to worry about. On the day of the wedding, she seamlessly handled the timeline and even pushed back on a vendor who tried to charge an extra fee after the fact, which she got removed. From securing vendors to day-of coordination to random little questions (like can we get L&B’s pizza delivered to our venue late at night? and where can we get a selfie mirror welcome sign?), Marissa was there to offer her guidance. Early on, we talked about communication and budget to set expectations. We have pretty busy schedules, but Marissa was really understanding and flexible, even when we could only check-in via emails or have calls in the evening. She also let us know what to expect budget-wise for each vendor and helped us prioritize where we wanted to splurge or save. Marissa was also really thoughtful when looking for vendors for us. She recommended a photographer who had shot tea ceremonies before, and made sure to find hair and makeup artists who were familiar with working with Asian features. Day-of, our venue was a bit disorganized and there were some issues with some of the vendors, but because we had Marissa there, we didn't need to worry about the little things and could just enjoy our day! She also had great ideas for DIY or adding personal touches for the wedding. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!

DM Events planned our 200-person black tie wedding at Brooklyn Botanic Garden this fall. From the moment I first spoke to Dawn Goldsmith, I felt at ease. She is a true visionary and a powerhouse. Her design-minded approach is something that was really important to me when selecting a planner – no detail too small! Regarding the day of, Dawn’s team is a well-oiled machine. We hired Tea through Mostest, and we’re so happy to have worked with her! We had an 87-person restaurant wedding at American Brass in LIC. As our DoC, she was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. She worked well with both of our families and truly has a great personality and spirit for weddings!

We hired Everhart Events for our son’s wedding being held at our home. As we started to plan this special day on our own we quickly realized the need to have an event planner. Abby helped with coordination of vendors, creation of an event timeline and most importantly being onsite the day of the event. From the rehearsal dinner to the final song, Abby was in the background making sure that every small detail was taken care of. She seamlessly transitioned the guests from the wedding on one side of our property to the tents across the other side set up for the reception.
