Hey there, I’m David! I’m a down-to-earth wedding photographer based in NJ, born and raised with strong family values that keep me grounded. My passion is capturing genuine connections and turning fleeting moments into timeless memories. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me spending time with my three dogs! My mission is to capture beautifully real, candid moments—big or small—so you can relive them forever.

Awarded Best of Zola
David was exactly what we were hoping for in a photographer and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to capture our perfect day. From our first phone call to getting our photos, David has been there for us and going above and beyond to help us and make sure our planning was going okay and just life in general. We were looking for a creative photographer to put their own spin on our photos and get some unique poses and shots and David checked that box over and over again. David uses modern technology to ensure he captures the best of your moments and enhances the environment around you for just an even better product. Above all, we felt like we made a friend due to David’s positive attitude, the laughs we shared, and eagerness to capture YOUR moment. He is obviously a master of his craft and I recommend him to anyone that is looking for creativity in their photos, while also still capturing classy and classic poses. Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
From our very first email exchange to the moment we received our photos, every step of working with Rich was an incredible experience. He always responded quickly, answered every question with patience, and offered thoughtful suggestions I hadn’t even considered. His preparation before the wedding gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly, and it truly did. Richard was exceptionally professional, respectful, kind, and understanding. On our wedding day, he brought a sense of calm amid the chaos. He blended seamlessly into the flow of events—always present when needed, but never intrusive—and coordinated effortlessly with our families, bridal party, and other vendors. He was also incredibly organized with the shots we needed, keeping us on track without ever making us feel rushed. Richard delivered our full gallery exactly one month after our wedding and just before Thanksgiving so we could share the photos with our families over the holiday. It meant so much to us and we were thrilled to receive our pictures so quickly. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire day, moment by moment. He captured the vibe and essence of our wedding perfectly. I especially appreciated his ideas and direction, and his artistic eye genuinely blew us away. He noticed angles, lighting, and emotional moments, capturing everything from the big highlights to the smallest in-between moments. The pictures he took of us, our families, and our venue were stunning—so much so that multiple friends texted us saying the photos looked like they belonged in Vogue. That is entirely to Richard’s credit. Choosing Richard as our wedding photographer was, without question, one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding process. I am endlessly grateful to have these photos to cherish forever. Choose Rich as your wedding photographer - you will not regret it!!!!

You know those first few months that you fall in love & everything is so wonderful & terrifying & just so damn GOOD? It's that “new love” feeling & I’ve never been able to replicate that feeling with anything else, except photography. Your wedding day tells the story of your love. From that “new love” to the more comfortable kind, it is the culmination of all those moments leading up to “I do.” I consider myself the narrator of that day, telling that story and documenting your connection through my photographs.

We highly recommend JENNY for any photo needs. She’s amazingly detailed and makes you feel like she’s your best friend. We were both nervous for our engagement shoot and she made it a breeze! 15/10 would recommend!

You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? You can smell the fresh air, feel the way the sun hits your face just so, hear the voice of the loved one next to you, remember the joke that they delivered and instantly you’re laughing all over again. That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do I even begin with Jessica? From our initial meeting straight through our wedding day Jessica has been amazing. The work that she does can speak for itself. Jessica captures photos that are posed and candid with a simple ease. We have gone through our wedding photos and anyone that looks at them can feel the love that we have for one another. Jessica makes you feel comfortable when you are working with her. I hate being in front of the camera but with Jessica capturing our special moments all one can be is comfortable. On your wedding day when Jessica says if anyone messes with you not to worry for she will fight the fight. If something goes wrong she finds a way to make it right. If you are a selfless person she will tell you that you have every right to be selfish. Jessica made our wedding journey relaxed when it came to the photography. She also knows how to pick just the right second shooter for your event. Thank you for picking Emily for ours. I tell all the couples that I work with at my job to book the vendors that you click with; be comfortable with them. It makes a big difference. Mike and I can truly say that Jessica is a wedding super hero and along this journey we are proud to call her FRIEND!!!

A good friend of mine has said that my brand is to care. She isn’t wrong-my brand is one of caring because my being is one of caring. I’ve been a wedding photog for 14+ yrs. I find that being a wedding photog is a gift - I barely have the words to describe how special it feels to be invited into clients’ most momentous & intimate wedding moments over & over again. I’m a champion for the weird & whimsical, the fun & funky - even & especially on wedding days. Plan your day the way you want to, trends be damned. Let your wedding day reflect your joy. That’s what we’re all there to celebrate, anyway. ✨

We love Erica so much! Her style of photography is exactly what we were looking for, and all of the photos came out so beautiful and vivid. She's incredibly kind and organized, but at no point did we feel pressed for time. She never gave us the impression that we were running behind schedule, she is just so relaxed and friendly. It's been a month since the wedding, and I still have guests calling me to compliment her and her photos. People said she blended into the background seamlessly - never noticed but, based on the pictures, all around. We can't recommend her enough!

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
We cannot recommend Kathryn enough! First (and most obvious) (and also most important) point is that the photos she took were incredible. She captured our night beautifully. More than that though, she captured how the night felt. The photos weren't overly posy, but rather showed off how much fun and excitement there was for the entire night. I think one of the best things I can say about Kathryn is that she really made a point of figuring out HOW we wanted her to photograph the wedding and delivered. As I wrote above, we wanted the photographs to look great, but mostly just capture how the wedding felt and she delivered on that 100%. Also, as much as she made sure we were leading all the decision making, she really knew her stuff and took things off of our plate where we could. We knew how we wanted the photos to look generally, but neither of us are photographers. So we talked to her about style and vibe and she really took it from there. She was an absolute professional, a great person to work with, and kind and caring. We felt like we were in great hands every step of the way. Truly cannot recommend her enough.

There are so many lovely things to be said about Julia. Her photos of our wedding took my breath away! From the first intro call, Julia was pleasant to work with. Talking with her was so easy, like we were already friends with her! Throughout planning, Julia was always responsive, flexible, and made it easy for us to provide the information she would need for the day to run smoothly. She even helped us map out the timeline of the day. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but her photographing style was very natural and helped put us at ease. Our pictures came out so beautifully – I really feel like they capture organic moments of joy and love between us. I can’t thank Julia enough for the incredible work she did - I know we will cherish these photos for a lifetime!

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jenna was recommended to us by another photographer and it was such a pleasure to work with her! We greatly appreciated how much she wanted to know us and our personalities in advance of our wedding day. We ended every zoom call or email exchange feeling confident in our decision to work with her. The weather on our wedding day wasn’t very cooperative, but Jenna and team were on the lookout for any break in the rain so that we could go up to the roof and get a few pictures. And she totally nailed them—they are some of our favorite pictures from the day. Jenna and team made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and also captured some incredible candids. If you’re looking for a fun, positive, and easy-to-work with photographer—Jenna is the right pick!

If I have a camera in my hands, then I am most definitely smiling. Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager and I love bringing that passion to weddings. I strive to capture all the intimate details that make a wedding truly personal. Don't be surprised if you see me crying during the parent dances, it's one of my favorite moments :)

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is firstly a gifted artist and photographer. As you can see she understands space and color in a way that my wife and I clearly do not but more importantly she understands what makes a moment feel special. We asked Sarah to deliver a documentary style wedding experience and she did not fail. When my wife and I chose Sarah, she immediately got to work helping us to plan our wedding day in a way that you might not necessarily expect from a wedding photographer. Sarah was so personal and friendly on the day of our wedding, it felt more like we had a friend taking our pictures as a favor. However, the finished products speak for themselves: our friends and family celebrating, iconic moments of the day, and our love clearly shown throughout. Sarah delivered organization, artistry, and value in a comprehensive package that can’t be beat.

We communicated our photography style wishes and Tasha ran with it and photographed our vision beyond what i could've imagined. I appreciated her flexibility and timeliness which created a very stress free and fun environment when taking photos. As we did a courthouse wedding, she also was our witness which was an extra bonus! We received a sneak peek very quickly after the wedding and knew we made the right choice - she even gave some editting options to make sure our photos were exactly like we wanted. The final photos looked amazing and I still can't get over them! Working with Caitlinn for our wedding was an AMAZING experience. We couldn’t be happier with our photos! I told her from the get go that my fiancé (now husband!) and I never take good photos, but she assured me that our photos would look natural and not overly posed, which is what we wanted. Caitlinn responded promptly to every email and worked with us to create an efficient timeline for our very large family and bridal party. We had four small children in our bridal party and Caitlinn handled them like an expert and got some amazing shots of all of them! She is incredibly organized and best of all, we received a “sneak preview” of our photo gallery one or two days after the wedding, and the entire photo gallery within a week of the wedding! And the pictures, OMG are they beautiful. The hardest part is choosing which photos to put in our album - they are all that good! (But we get to keep the full digital photo gallery which is being displayed on a digital frame). I particularly appreciated how “unobtrusive” her style is - especially during the very emotional moments like our first look - we didn’t “feel” like we were being photographed so we were able to enjoy the moment and act naturally. She captured all of the big moments and the small details too and her artistic eye created beautiful shots of everything from getting ready all the way to the cake cutting and everything in between. Caitlinn is also an incredibly lovely person - her energy carries through in everything she does, and we felt so comfortable from her right from the get go. Truly I can’t say enough about this wonderful photographer and person - she created beautiful memories for us that we will cherish forever.

On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond to keep us calm and relaxed, allowing us to truly be present and soak in all the special moments. The quality of their work is outstanding - they captured the day in a way that brings us right back to the magic of that day whenever we look at the photos. We were thrilled that they were able to capture all the shots we requested, delivering the final gallery to us in a very timely manner (2 weeks!!).

Having Tara by my side on my wedding as an absolute dream. Our wedding would not have gone as smooth if I didn't have Tara with me to remind me what we had coming up next. Having done an amazing job with our engagement photos, we knew our wedding photos would come out just as great. She did a great job leading us to picturesque places at our venue and guiding us through what poses would look perfect. She captured every emotion we had that day and I'm so happy to have all these moments taken by her.

I'm Carroll, a photographer for those who love to live a happy, fun life! I'm married to the most amazing man and together we hike, travel, eat a lot of Chinese food, and watch WAY too many Friends reruns (which explains my crazy love for coffee). I'm also a fur-mom to the two most adorable (and spoiled) little fur-babies, Levi and Chloe. The more you get to know me, you’ll realize how much I love the simple moments of life and to make the most of it all!

Before I even got engaged I knew I wanted Carroll to capture my wedding day. I am very lucky to have seen Carroll’s talent from the very beginning in high school and watch it blossom over time. After working with Carroll for the last 10 months, I’ve grown to appreciate her work on a whole other level. Carroll truly was my calm during a crazy storm. As a panicky bride, she could take me from a 10 to a 2 in one conversation. It rained my entire wedding day from the second I opened my eyes and it never bothered me once because I knew Carroll would make it work (and did she ever). Having Carroll, Ashley, and Erin alongside us on our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. They captured the true happiness that was there all day. I got all the outside pictures I wanted even with the all day rain (with me and my dress remaining surprisingly dry). I’m astounded how Carroll manages to be so professional and personable at the same time. We can not thank her and her team enough for everything. Our day truly wouldn’t have had the same outcome without Carroll Tice Photography.

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected, their communication style was friendly, responsive, and clear. They took the time to understand our vision and made sure we felt at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is truly exceptional - their photos have a nostalgic, natural, and emotional quality that perfectly captured the spirit of our special day. Cappy's skill and creativity shone through, even in the challenging backgrounds of our intimate venue in Greenport. They beautifully documented every moment, from the getting ready shots to the ceremony and reception. The final images are timeless, memorable, and absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Cappy Hotchkiss Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photographer.

I have been photographing weddings for 13 years and I love every second of it! I live in the Hudson Valley, but I travel all over the world for weddings. I started photographing weddings in college on the side and once I graduated I knew I wanted to continue to pursue weddings! If you'd like to inquire, please do so through my website!

Jordan was the first person my husband and I hired for our wedding. In fact it was only a few hours after I got engaged that I ran to email Jordan after finding her exceptional work on Instagram! The only thing I knew is we HAD to have Jordan as our photographer. Since connecting in 2021, my husband and I have changed our wedding plans quite a bit. With each shift, Jordan has been accommodating, flexible, supportive, and most importantly, a friend to us. Every person I’ve seen since our wedding has remarked about the exceptional photos from our day. There’s a level of artistic expertise that Jordan possesses that simply sets her apart from so many in the field. The work is breathtaking and speaks for itself!

Kristen is everything my husband and I dreamed of for a photographer--professional, talented, and an absolute joy to be around! We had a small wedding ceremony at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery with specific monuments in mind for the photos, and she gave us directed our poses to bring our vision to life. Within a few days, Kristen sent us a sneak peek and the images were stunning and more beautiful than we could have imagined. Taking wedding photos can be awkward (what do you do with your hands?!), but Kristen really made it such a comfortable and memorable experience. It was more like catching up with an old friend and laughing non stop. Go and book Little But Fierce Photography immediately!
