I am a portrait photographer based in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in evocative, dark, and concept driven imagery. With 18 years of experience, I have developed a style that blends mood, storytelling, and artistic depth, offering a range of editing aesthetics to match each vision. I hold a Certificate in Photography from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts and am also self taught. My work focuses on capturing emotion and atmosphere, transforming portraits into compelling visual narratives.

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was young. I believe you can be professional while still keeping the experience fun and relaxed. I help my clients build their timelines for the day, connect with other vendors, and suggest budget friendly options to help everything run as smoothly as possible. I am always learning and developing new skills to grow my art. My main goal is to create images my clients love, build a strong portfolio, and provide the best experience possible from start to finish.

    Very professional!

    As a wedding officiant who's had the pleasure of working with Ashley from Sage & Iron Creations four times now, I can confidently say she's a true professional. Her communication is prompt and clear from start to finish, and her dark, moody editing style consistently elevates every wedding. Just prior to the last ceremony I did with Ashley, the groom gave me a gift to deliver to the bride. I quickly grabbed Ashley on the way so she could capture the moment so the groom could see the bride's reaction to his gift and she pivoted instantly to get the shot. Her turnaround time is outstanding, and her pricing is fantastic for the caliber of work she delivers. Ashley has earned a permanent spot on my preferred wedding professionals list, and I genuinely do a happy dance whenever I learn she's booked for a wedding I'm officiating.

    Has been my top recommendation for years!

    I have gone through Sage & Iron any time I e been in need of a photographer as well as recommended her to friends and family for at least the last 15 years. I have followed her from the very beginning and any time myself or a loved one has hired her we have not been remotely disappointed. She was the wedding photographer for my best friend’s and separately my “husband’s” (not actually married yet but we already know who our photographer will be when we get to that lol) best friend’s wedding and she also done portraits of my daughter when I was upset with the school photos. She has always been incredibly professional, kind, communicative, and timely. 100% recommend her for any photography needs!

    I'm addicted to shooting with Ashley!!! She is easily one of my most favorite photographers to shoot with!! From the very start when I booked my first creative shoot with her she was very professional and on the ball with communicating and making sure we were both on the same page. I have shot with her multiple times now and I always appreciate her preparedness and punctuality. She is also very helpful with posing directions if needed! The calming vibes she brings is an added bonus and helps you to feel like your most comfortable and confident self. You'd truly be doing yourself a disservice by not booking your big day shoot with her!
