Authentic wedding photography for intentional couples in the Hudson Valley. Based in Garrison, NY I specialize in documenting candid moments while blending natural light with artistic off camera flash techniques, which I use to highlight both the natural setting of a wedding and special moments between you and your loved ones. From scenic venues to intimate ceremonies, I document emotion-driven wedding stories and real connections with care and empathy. My calm, grounded presence helps you feel at ease in front of the camera. I guide you through the planning and deliver timeless photos that bring you back to how your day felt for decades.
We begin by getting to know each other so that your photos fully reflect you and so that you feel more comfortable on your wedding day. As we progress through your planning process we work together and develop your timeline so that all of your favorite people and moments are photographed. On your big day I am always there but never noticed to allow you to truly be in the moment. When it is time to pose, I use simple yet creative prompts because your photos should feel natural and like you. Your photos will feel like authentic memories and will be treasured for a lifetime since I When I have free time I love to travel, brew beer, hike and run.

Winter wedding
Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. Matthew is phenomenal! From the moment we booked him to getting our wedding photos, Matthew has been enthusiastic and professional! He provided many resources leading up to the wedding as well as scheduled phone calls to discuss our vision. His photography/videography team was fun to work with, open to ideas, patient yet effective with families, and in all the right places at all the right times! As the couple, we didn't get to see everything that happened throughout the day, however many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed watching Matthew and his team capture all the magic without being overly "present." Matthew listened when I mentioned my "good side," making deliberate efforts to capture more shots on that side. He routinely offered to give me a break or bring me water when I had been standing in poses for a long time, and his team helped me with my dress countless times. Also I can tell from my husband's photos that Matthew's team was doing a great job of getting natural smiles out of a man who insists on smiling awkwardly for photos. We now recommend Matthew any time we hear of someone needing a photographer. Thank you!
