Creativity has played a role in my life ever since I was a little girl. I grew up in upstate NY loving the outdoors and being close to the mountains! Although I loved where I grew up, when I graduated high school I decided to move South to Georgia to pursue a degree. While studying Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I fell in love with photography. I received my B.F.A in photography and then moved back home to NY where I became busy photographing weddings.

I love bright, authentic, joyous, and vibrant photos. Going on adventures with my couples is what I live for. Hikes, waterfalls, deep in the woods, you name it! Rain? No problem! I love leaving a session with a big smile on my face because it was filled with laughter.

I moved to Buffalo, NY about 6 years ago. Why Buffalo? Because my wife grew up here. I was born and raised in Münster, Germany and lived most recently in Vienna, Austria. I worked as a journalist for financial newspapers, websites and magazines. I wrote mainly about tech companies such as Apple, Facebook, Google among other things. As part of my job I was exposed to photography and filmmaking and discovered a passion. It didn’t take long for family and friends to ask me to photograph their weddings. I realized how much fun it was to be part of such an emotional day which you remember for a lifetime.
