Incredible Team From Start to Finish
Our Epic Events Studios media team was absolutely incredible. Ella and Liv captured our photos, and Brian and Alex shot our video, and we are so grateful for all four of them. From the very start of the day, they were professional, kind, organized, and brought such a calm, positive energy to the hotel room that made everything feel easy, even with 14 women getting ready at once. We especially appreciated that they met us at the hotel, traveled with us to Coronado, and then continued on to the venue. With multiple locations throughout the day, their flexibility meant so much to us. As a San Diego native, I had a specific vision for taking photos in Coronado, and despite the strong sun, they brought that vision to life in a way that completely exceeded my expectations. They made every transition feel seamless and remained upbeat, attentive, and fully present throughout it all. Most importantly, I appreciated that they stayed patient and positive despite the heat. Ella and Liv made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured everything so naturally and beautifully. Alex and Brian did an amazing job preserving the movement, emotion, and energy of the day in such a meaningful way. Together, they worked so seamlessly as a team and made us feel supported every step of the way. At times, it felt like they were not just our photographers and videographers, but our guardian angels throughout the day. From helping me put on my veil when my family members were having trouble, to helping bustle my wedding dress when I started to panic and didn't know how to do it, they completely eased my stress. The team also caught moments we almost missed ourselves, like the cake cutting. We were so caught up in dancing that we nearly forgot, and I appreciated so much that they pulled us aside to make sure we captured such a special moment! And of course, the photos and videos they captured were absolutely stunning. As someone who is not used to being photographed and does not usually consider themself photogenic, I was truly blown away by how beautiful and flattering everything turned out! They really knew how to capture our best angles and guide us in a way that felt natural and comfortable. We are beyond thankful for how beautifully our Epic Events Studios team captured our wedding day. These are memories we will cherish forever, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, flexible, and genuinely wonderful photo and video team in San Diego.

Best photo team ever!!!
Brides!!! I can’t recommend Epic enough!! The whole process from inquiry to wedding day to receiving the photos is seamless. They have several packages to choose from at very competitive pricing. Before the wedding we met with Kristina the manager to talk about us, our wedding, and what we wanted from our photos. It was a great way to get to know each other beforehand. She then makes sure that you’re paired with a photographer that suits your vision. We got matched with Kristina as our lead photographer and Ashley as our 2nd. They were both available to ask questions and plan all the way up until the wedding which provided a lot of comfort. They were both the best to work with throughout wedding day. They had our shot list ready and made sure we got pics at all the locations we requested. It was so nice to turn my brain off and just be in the moment. After the wedding we got compliments from our guests about how nice and fun they were! It was seriously such a delight to work with them throughout the whole process. Of course the best part is that our pictures are stunning!!! We were given so many more than expected and they are all so perfect. We couldn’t be happier and we are so grateful to have so many beautiful memories documented and always available to look back on. After I got my photos back one of my bridesmaids ended up booking Epic for her wedding and once again the album was perfect! Booking Epic will be one of the best decisions you will make in wedding planning!!! ily Epic team!

10/10 Highly Recommend Epic Events!
Cannot recommend working with Epic Events enough. My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and are still on cloud 9 about how our wedding turned out. We used their services at The Secret Garden for coordinating, photography, and added videography at the last minute when our previous videographer went completely MIA. A huge shoutout to our day-of coordinator, Laura, who went so far above and beyond just planning logistics. She kept everything running smoothly, made sure everyone was exactly where they needed to be, and helped create a day that was even better than we ever could have imagined. I genuinely don’t know how the day would have gone without her. Tammy and Ashley on the photography team were incredible. They made us feel so natural and comfortable in front of the camera and helped keep the vibes high and captured every moment from our shot list. We are also beyond grateful to the videography team, who truly saved the day on such short notice when our originally booked videographer when completely MIA. With less than two weeks to go, they stepped in and made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. Our day-of videographer, Kolya, was an absolute pleasure to work with so professional, and a great presence throughout the day. We just received our sneak peek pictures and they are so beautiful already. Can't wait to receive the full album and video to relive the day over and over, it truly was the happiest day of our lives, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the Epic team. Could not recommend them more!

BEST DAY EVER!
I cannot rave about the epic team enough. From the very start they were so kind, responsive and excited about day and our vision. Kristina and Brian answered questions, gave advice and tips and made sure that every detail (timeline, shot list etc) would be exactly to plan. And they delivered. I was lucky enough to have Ella and Liv as my photography team, and Brian as our videographer. This team was the BEST. They came in with such fun and positive energy, hyping us up and also making everyone feel so at ease. It felt like hanging out with old friends! The team was amazing at ensuring we stayed on schedule, but also making sure to capture every important photo and detail. Plus they saved the day when my veil needed steaming, and we had no dress tape! They truly made everything go so smoothly and stress free and I couldn't be more grateful for that. They even embraced the chaos at the reception and it truly was a blast. Sneak peeks were delivered so quickly and the final album and video were delivered before the promised time frame. The album and video are above and beyond anything we could have imagined, and we will cherish the memories forever! Thank you again to this talented team for truly making it the perfect day!

We recommend booking your photo and video as soon as possible. Because we’re the exclusive team across our 5 venues and capture around 200 events a year, dates can fill up quickly. In general, most couples book 9-18 months in advance (and even earlier for peak Saturdays), but if your date is coming up sooner, reach out ASAP so we can confirm availability.

This depends on your wedding day schedule and what matters most to you. Most couples book 7-10 hours to capture everything from getting ready through the main reception events. We’ll help you decide what makes the most sense as you build your timeline.

Our style is a mix of guided, polished portraits and real candid moments. Think timeless, flattering images for your families, plus documentary-style storytelling that captures the emotion and in-between moments as they actually happen. We also love to incorporate some editorial shots as well!

A second photographer is a great way to get fuller coverage of your day. It allows us to capture both partners getting ready, multiple angles during the ceremony, more candid moments during cocktail hour and reception, and it’s especially helpful if you have a larger guest count, travel involved, or you love those in-the-moment candid shots. It adds depth to your gallery and helps tell the full story.

You can expect a sneak peek within about 2 weeks. Your full wedding photo gallery is typically delivered in 6-8 weeks. During peak season, delivery can be closer to 8-14 weeks. Video turnaround is usually on a similar timeline.

Yes. We love having a family formal list and any “must capture” people, details, or Epic Studios Welcome and FAQs meaningful moments. We’ll also help you build a timeline so nothing important gets missed. We typically don’t recommend super detailed shot lists for every moment, because it can pull us out of capturing the day naturally, but we’ll absolutely guide and prompt what you need.

Yes. We offer professional albums, prints, and other products so you can enjoy your images beyond the screen. You can order directly from your online gallery through the shopping cart icon, and we can also help with custom album design.

It depends on your coverage length and guest count, but you can expect a full, well-curated gallery that tells the story of your day. We don’t cap the number of delivered images, we deliver everything that meets our quality standard. We don’t provide RAW/unedited files, since those aren’t a finished representation of our work; we deliver fully edited, high-resolution images in your final gallery.

Yes. We’ll help you plan a photo-friendly timeline and work with your coordinator so the day flows smoothly and you’re not rushed.
