We ended up booking him to provide music for our entire wedding day, from pre-ceremony music (played while guests were arriving and taking their seats) through the ceremony (including microphones for the officiant and groom) through cocktail hour, dinner, special dances and toasts, and the dance party portion of the reception. Joey’s attention to detail, including making sure he knew which specific versions of the songs we requested we wanted to play, and which music lined up with specific points in the schedule of events, was unmatched. Joey’s client portal made it easy to share our music choices for all these different parts of our big day. He paid close attention to our playlists/requests for the dance party while also mixing in some of his own selections, reading the room and ensuring everyone had something to dance to; this was especially impressive given that our guests ranged in age from infants to octogenarians! He was also sensitive to the nuances of a big family gathering: My dad and I don’t have a close relationship, so my mom and I did a mother-daughter dance in place of the traditional father-daughter one. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. I thought that a live band for our wedding would be out of our reach, but LPE was so easy to work with and what an incredible value! Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)”
