“We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”

She brought so much energy to the room, and was a perfect emcee- not too overbearing, but fun and lively all night long. We had such a blast, and we truly cannot recommend hiring Maggie enough. “This review is way overdue, but I made sure to come back to leave it because this band deserves it so much! They tore it up all night, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that our guests were raving about the band. Every wedding I've been to ha had a brief awkward period where everyone is playing chicken over who will start dancing first, but that wasn't a problem with this music. One of our guests was a former guitarist for Blood, Sweat, and Tears and even HE was raving about the band! So anyway: these guys rock, their catalog is vast, and Elliott is AMAZING to work with. He was right there with us brainstorming songs for the setlist, and when there was a brief issue with the power at the venue he handled it like a pro. If you're looking for a ripping band for your wedding or event then these guys 100% fit the bill, and I truly couldn't recommend them more”
