Hi! We’re non-traditional DJs devoted to the art of crafting your perfect wedding soundtrack. Put simply - We integrate ALL your favorite songs into the mix, there is a time for everything meaningful to you! We put your needs first and work with you every step of the way. We also stand apart from other DJs with the breadth and depth of our musical knowledge and ability to “read the crowd” — which only comes after 20+ years of experience. and hundreds of events.
Let’s be honest: Most DJs only take a few song suggestions and set the vibe they think will work, not what you want. Poor mixing ability, unable to read the crowd reaction, with the same tired playlists. We are different. To us it’s all about putting your favorite music as the highest priority. Once you experience an open format set that transitions easily between genres, keeping all your guests happy and dancing, you can’t wait for the next song to drop! No overbearing tactics on the mic talking over the favorite parts of your songs, instead we use strong set lists we build together and seamless mixing to create the vibe and energy.

TLDR DJ Nate delivered on the exact music energy we wanted, communicated directly with our venue regarding his needs for setting up his stuff so as not to make more work for us, and the fact that he was 100% committed to doing the job he promised despite the weather event of the decade — for these reasons, DJ Nate gets our highest praise and our strongest recommendation. Thank you so much!!! DJ Nate is amazing. We got married in the snowstorm of the decade (yes…that January 2026 one that shut multiple cities down). DJ Nate he assured us that he was planning to leave extra early to have plenty of time to arrive and get his equipment set up with a foot of snow already on the ground and he delivered and he did just that. He was already up and running to welcome us with cocktail hour music when we showed up 30 minutes early (we too left very early to get to the venue in the snow). He is a consummate professional who takes seriously that people spend a great deal of emotion, money, time, and logistical resources to make a wedding day happen, and that even unprecedented weather events cannot stop an event that has that much planning go into it. He has a calm about him that makes interacting pleasant and stress free. I felt confident he was going to take care of everything and he did just that. We gave him a vibe for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (as well as specific songs to play at specific moments and then a must-play playlist and “I really like this, please work it in if it feels right with the crowd playlist”) and he nailed everything. We had a multicultural wedding with a long list of songs from my husband’s culture (songs in a language which does not use the English alphabet) and DJ Nate was able to get every song we requested and played them all despite the fact that the titles and artists names may as well have been written in gibberish to him. The timing was great during the ceremony, speeches, etc. He completely respected that we did not want cheesy, intrusive MCing during our wedding. He played the role of man behind the curtain who kept us all on schedule and vibing and he played it perfectly. DJ Nate gets our highest gratitude and recommendation.
Organized, detail oriented, a delight!
Dj Nate was absolutely incredible! He is organized, thorough, and an absolute delight to work with. His portal was super easy to use and songs that weren’t on there already were very easy to add. His experience was evident by his superb professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail. Anything that had to be shortened (our first dance song) or lengthened (the processional music) was done so seamlessly. His lighting set up was amazing and so much fun. Everything ran so smoothly even with last min changes I made. I would absolutely recommend!!!
Best DJ Ever!
DJ Nate couldn’t have possibly made the process any easier. He provided his own lighting and DJ booth as well as speakers and mics. The website DJ Nate uses to manage the wedding playlist and day-of events was so convenient to use. DJ Nate was very patient with us while we chose the songs we wanted to hear most, as well as the songs we really didnt want to hear. If you are planning a wedding and are looking for a DJ that will provide you the best possible experience for you and your guests, DJ Nate is the only one you should consider.
Highlight of our wedding!!
I would recommend Nate and Terrace DJ to anyone! From the moment we started talking with him, Nate was super communicative and would respond quickly to any and all of our questions. He had a huge music library we could pick songs from, and was willing to purchase any songs he didn’t already own. We had a somewhat obscure first dance song, and he worked with us to not only find a copy of the song, but to shorten it for our dance as well. People after our wedding told us the dance floor was ‘ruthless’ because the songs were so good, they didn’t want to stop dancing!! Thank you Terrace DJ and Nate, it was an amazing night!
