Awesome to work with!
I have known Ryan on a personal level for a long time, so reaching out and asking him to be our musician, organizer, and DJ made complete sense. However, I was also amazed at how truly professional, organized and efficient he was about all of it. He has systems in place to take all the stress out of planning our music, and made it truly easy. On the day of the wedding, there were traffic delays outside of his control, and when he arrived at an unfamiliar venue with less time than usual, he got to work immediately and had everything set up perfectly to start on time. We were stunned at how he managed everything, appearing to be without stress, and took away any nerves we may have had about things going smoothly. The day went flawlessly, and a huge part of that can be credited to Ryan's efficiency and calm. Ryan is a warm, down-to-earth person, an extremely talented musician, and wonderful to work with from start to finish.

I was stressful experiencing a two hour delay with travel but considering how far away your wedding was I’m so glad I allowed for 3 hrs of set up time which I rightfully deemed a window of time appropriate to handle the increased unpredictability of a longer drive. It was such a joy to participate & see so many of our mutual friends at your wedding. And to witness the celebration of your love for Christiaan. Ryan Cook is the best DJ and Live Musician ever! He did an amazing job preforming for our wedding. We can’t recommend him enough. My wife and I are Russian Ukrainian and we wanted to incorporate a mixture of foreign and English-speaking music into our celebration and Ryan accommodated us all the way. He also learned Smashing Pumpkin’s rendition of Depeche Mode’s Never Let Me Down Again and played it live for us! Ryan thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives!

If you are looking for someone to do both ceremony music (with him and others), cocktail hour and DJ... Ryan is your guy. He'll help you with music selection if you aren't 100% sure. If you can tell him what kind of music you like, he'll can create a mix you and your partner can dance too.
The one, the only, the VERY best
Ryan is truly the jack of all trades, the absolute kindest human being, and incredibly professional. We are SO glad he was a (major!) part of our wedding day! He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING. He curated the perfect playlist, set up THREE different locations to play, AND was super cool to honor all our specific wishes. 10 mins to the end I went to him and said eh we are tired such a long day, we can probably wrap up - he assured me he had some incredible songs for the last few, told me to rally- he DID. Ended the night on such a fun, high note. I would recommend Ryan over and over and over and over again. Not only did he totally rock the DJ/musician aspect, but he’s truly a kind person- which just really rounded out the whole experience. 10000/10 experience — thank you Ryan!!!
