“We could not have had a better experience with Food For Thought. They started as "just" our catering vendor, but we had such an amazing experience with Kacilynn, that we upgraded to their event planning as well. Every step of the experience was stellar from start to finish to now, even a month after the wedding. Let's start with the food. It was INCREDIBLE. Our tasting was customized to our likes and tastes and we had a difficult time narrowing it down, because it was all SO GOOD. The service, day of, was perfection. We had passed hors d'oeuvres, a perfect plated dinner, and dessert and late night PASSED THRU THE DANCE FLOOR. Iconic. FFT had excellent props to really elevate the food experience. Next, the design. Very few people care about linens and tableware as much as I do and I think they all work for FFT. We got to see all the options in house. Getting to play around and feel every tablecloth, fork, and water goblet was an amazing experience. The team also took every single one of my crazy ideas in stride. No detail was too big or too small for FFT. Finally, the PEOPLE. Kacilynn was TRULY my girl through it all. We planned this wedding for almost 2 years and she was by our side every step of the way. She really GOT me, my vision, my communication style, everything. Kaci and I were on the same page from the get go, which made wedding day an even better experience. I was truly calm because I knew she would have any issue under control. All of the staff day of was also incredible, especially our personal waiter, Diego! I can't recommend FFT enough. You seriously will not regret it. THANK YOU FFT TEAM!!”

He came with several cameras and valued all of our ideas, and when we became stumped he offered ideas for us to try as well. He was very professional, kind, caring, and always on top of the game taking photos. Towards the end of our night he started to put the camera away and brought it back out to catch a few final moments. He was on top of responding to all questions before, during, and after. He took photos of me and my husband before the ceremony and got some wonderful shots (it was a 95 outside wedding so this was much appreciated because we all had some sweat on our faces). But before we got Percy and our booking process with eivans it was super simple, and just an overall great experience.”

“I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

He helped us create a detailed plan that included songs we loved, songs we didn’t want played, and the exact timing for everything. “10/10!!! If we could get married 10 times over again, we would be at Walden 10 times more. Walden was the most perfect wedding venue from start to finish. The main thing that we were looking for in a venue was an all inclusive vibe that would allow for as little planning and stress as possible, as neither of us were really into the whole wedding planning thing. Walden was just that. The wedding planners that you work with from the beginning, make it so easy to stay on track. the app that they use was super helpful to make sure that everything was organized and things are done according to the best timeline. We never once felt stressed out about the whole wedding planning process and that really says a lot about Walden and how great they are. Big shout out to Krystle and Alyssa for making the process so seamless and making sure we were supported. The other important piece of criteria that we wanted was on site catering so that our guests would have the best experience from a food perspective. The food was phenomenal! Our guests raved about how great it was, saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The bar was the best wedding bar I’ve ever seen. The drink selection was on point, with amazing cocktails and the bar staff was incredible. A huge shout out to bartender Amy, who made sure that both of us had drinks in our hand the entire night! Walden is so thoughtful in their entire approach from making sure you are taken care of months before the wedding, to the day of the wedding, giving you space to have a cocktail, appetizer, and a breather before the party starts! We are obsessed with this venue and we really hope that one day we get invited back to someone else’s wedding there so we can relive the wonderful experience that we had!”

Erica, my hairstylist was great, she even made adjustments after our trial to allow for movement and softness while still holding the curl. “Working with Blair was probably the best decision we made during the process of planning our wedding. My husband and I both work 9-5 corporate jobs, and we knew that we needed to bring someone onto our “wedding team” that would help keep us on track with all of the milestones during the wedding planning process. From the get-go, over our 15-month planning period, Blair was always transparent about timing and was a master of following up regarding timelines, without ever badgering us or coming across as controlling. She spent over an hour discussing budgets with us and our families early on, to make sure that everything we planned stayed in the budget range that we’d all agreed upon. This was especially helpful during our venue and vendor selection process. She helped us find that blew our socks off, and also found us the most wonderful florist (@thelocalpetaler) who was able to provide us way more bang for our buck than any florist we’d be able to find on our own - a huge advantage. While we had our venue already picked out, Blair was able to recommend a food and beverage package with an available catering company that fell delivered us fantastic food and a premium beverage package that fit our budget.   Leading up to the wedding, Blair was also a master in helping us coordinate our wedding day planning including family photos, transportation e.g. coordinating our bus between multiple hotels and the venue while making it easy for us to just focus on ourselves. The peace of mind that Blair brought us throughout the planning process, week of, and day of our wedding made having our wedding a cakewalk rather than a headache. Spending the money to hire Blair was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding!”

“Trish and her team did a fantastic job with my wedding day hair and makeup. She was on time and organized, and we were able to get the whole wedding party done up in style. (She even accommodated some groomsmen requests for a little under eye concealer after a late night before the wedding) I wanted to feel like a princess on my wedding day, and Trish delivered, complete with working the tiara into the wedding style. Trish also did a fabulous job with a different look that I wore in my engagement photos. The photos turned out so well and I had never felt prettier in my life, except on my wedding day! On the wedding morning, though, I wanted a slightly different hairstyle and makeup look to mix things up - Trish was able to see my vision even without a Pinterest inspo pic and I was stunned when I looked in the mirror.
