DJs & PBJs

Toast & Jam DJs specialize in making people dance by working closely with our clients to create customized playlists that reflect their tastes. We reject line dances, props, and other gimmicks in favor of perfectly planned and well-timed soundtracks that appeal to every partygoer. That means no Hokey Pokey and no Chicken Dance. At Toast & Jam, we believe that a thoughtful mix of pop favorites, hip-hop bootyshakers, Motown classics, and timeless standards are fun and self-respecting alternative to those embarrassing and played-out dancefloor clichés.

Our DJs are super-talented and totally music-obsessed, but we aren't music snobs. We understand that it’s your wedding, and it’s all about what you want. We aren’t club DJs who took a wedding “for the money.” We love weddings and are honored to be a part of the big day. We work closely with your other vendors to make sure that the event goes off perfectly.

    Must Book!!

    We cannot recommend Toast & Jam enough! From start to finish, the entire team made the planning process incredibly easy, seamless, and stress-free. Everything was organized and well-communicated, which gave us so much confidence leading up to our wedding day. A very special thank you to DJ Emily—she was truly amazing to work with and went above and beyond our expectations. She is incredibly kind, talented, and knew exactly how to read the room and keep the energy going all night long. She played all of our must-plays and created the perfect flow and electric atmosphere throughout the entire day. Our guests are still telling us it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and many said they didn’t want to leave the dance floor because the music was that good. Emily absolutely made the night unforgettable. We are so grateful to Toast & Jam for helping make our wedding such an incredible experience and would highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the area!

    Shavonne Set the Perfect Vibe

    Toast & Jam made our entire music experience effortless and unforgettable. From the outset, working with Toast & Jam was easy—they knew exactly what they were doing and made the whole process feel seamless. For our afternoon wedding, their approach set the perfect tone from the very beginning. We loved working with Shavonne, who was so engaged in helping us shape the music for both the ceremony and reception, especially since many of our selections weren’t the typical wedding standards. She was thoughtful, collaborative, and fun, offering great guidance as we blended songs from different countries that could have easily clashed without the right touch. Shavonne understood the vibe we wanted and knew exactly how to bring it to life. She kept the flow of the afternoon on track, even helping direct day‑of moments so everything felt smooth and well‑paced. She’s a true rock star. We also added the photobooth, which ended up being such a great decision. Our guests loved it, and it added a fun, memorable element to the day. We’re incredibly grateful and would recommend Toast & Jam without hesitation.

    Yes yes amazing

    DJ Chris was AWESOME!!! I sensed he truly understand what we wanted as a couple and boy did I get so much more. Not only is he playing my walking down the aisle song, he's introducing speeches, introducing cake cutting, keeping the dance floor alive. He's really WORKING for the whole wedding. Bravo for being epic! Oh and the packages are great, full of things I'm happy I got and didn't know I needed!! -the happiest newlyweds

    Kept our dance floor going all night!

    We had heard good things about Toast & Jam before we selected them for our wedding DJ, but Chris COMPLETELY blew us out of the water. Our dance floor had the best energy all night and he was an absolute consummate professional. People were coming up to us all night telling us how great he was, and afterwards were asking us for his contact information for their own events. We went in with guidelines on what we were thinking for the vibes of the night, and he took those ideas and made them a reality. We couldn't have been happier with the selection of Toast & Jam.
