Hello! I am Wendy, an award winning Chicago wedding photographer. I personally, will be the photographer on your wedding day, I am a one woman small business. My photo journey started 15 years ago shooting concerts, most recently Depeche Mode! I fell in love with the art of photography and started capturing weddings! I love seeing all the details you so lovingly design into your wedding day and capturing the big picture of how awesome you, your wedding and guests are.

I know how exciting (and overwhelming) this time can be. I know exactly what I wanted and expected on my big day, and I believe that helps translate into knowing a lot about what you want as well. I also happen to LOVE doing makeup, especially for an occasion as special and memorable as one's wedding day. As an experienced artist, I have great pride in my ability to make a woman look her most beautiful, while remaining true to her natural self. I lean toward a light hand, specializing in creating a gorgeous, luminous glow, but also know when to turn up the drama.

Based in Chicago, Nicodem Creative is a photography and videography studio with a modern, yet classic, style. We are a husband and wife team who believes wholeheartedly in marriage. Andrew loves a simple wardrobe and playing piano, takes his sauna/steam/spa time very seriously, is a social butterfly, studied poetry in college, and would play soccer every day if time (and his body) afforded it. Marianne feels best when hiking, speaks Portuguese, considers herself a master at making açai bowls and blender soups, loves using clean products, and has to shower every night before going to bed (her alone time).

John Severson graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004 with degrees in Anthropology and Film. His passion for film has taken him all over the world, from Vietnam to Zanzibar. John is a Chicagoland native. After graduating and traveling, he returned back to Chicago’s Lakeview and South Loop neighborhoods. In 2009, he married his wife Sarah, and moved back to their native Oak Park to raise their two children, Stella and George. John is always available to chat with you about your ideas and answer any questions. He’s excited getting to know you as a couple and share your vision for your wedding day.
