I was originally paired with a coordinator who was not as proactive/did not project confidence and ability to guide. Mostest was super accommodating with getting me reassigned, replacing my original planner with Lanise within a day of me contacting them. Everything was smooth sailing from there on out! If you’re in Houston I highly recommend Lanise as a month-of coordinator! She consistently went above and beyond leading up to and on the day of my wedding. She is professional, organized, confident, and creative. I am a very Type A person, so it was important to me to have someone I could really trust with the details. Lanise sent detailed recaps with action items after each of our weekly meetings, was available over text when I had questions, smoothly handled vendor communications and even some family coordination for speeches, conducted venue visits, and did an AMAZING job decorating and keeping things moving on the day of. I came in with a pretty detailed vision and provided mockups of my table settings and special decor, but Lanise truly understood the assignment and executed it with such care and precision. “Hiring Kahlida was one of the best things we did for our wedding and our sanity. My husband and I decided to have a small wedding with immediate family, and we did all of the planning ourselves. We initially thought that we could handle the logistics of that day, but even just booking the vendors started to become overwhelming. We were also planing the wedding from out of town, which sometimes made the planning more complicated. From the moment we had our initial meeting with Kahlida, I knew that she was the coordinator for us. My husband and I are pretty laid back, so we appreciated that she was able to match our energy. She was extremely kind and organized. Working with her kept our planning on track. I also really appreciated that she took the lead on reaching out to our vendors and coordinating with them in the few weeks leading up to our wedding, which is something I know we would have been too overwhelmed to do that close to our wedding. I'm very Type A, so I had everything planned out, but they were lovely to regularly check in with and spit ideas off of and helped to refine my vision. I did all my planning out of state and sight unseen, so I was definitely nervous to arrive and see all my vendors and decor when I arrived, but Adam and Brandon really picked up the ball and ran with it once I arrived to NOLA. They were so helpful the day before to help run last minute errands and we luckily got into the venue early to set everything up. My friend was officiating, so they helped with the timing of the ceremony and everything. The day of they did an AMAZING job in finishing all the decorating and helping to flip the space from ceremony to reception. “We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!”
