I care deeply about every couple I work with and always aim to execute the agreed-upon scope with professionalism and integrity. For clarity, my contracted arrival window for your wedding day was between 1:00–1:30 PM, which we discussed and confirmed in advance. I arrived at 1:30 PM as planned. Upon arrival, many of the décor items you had listed for setup had already been placed. I surveyed the space, ensured candles were lit, adjusted and relocated a backdrop at your mother’s request, directed the photo-booth vendor to set up area and confirmed the remaining details were in place. Regarding the ceremony processional, your ring bearer became upset and began crying at the aisle entrance. I worked alongside his father in an attempt to gently encourage him to walk. You and your father were directly behind us and lovingly reassured him as well. "We love you Finn, its ok". Ultimately, his father chose to carry him away to keep the ceremony flowing smoothly. That decision was made in the moment based on the child’s comfort. Throughout the evening, I coordinated directly with the DJ on entrance songs, with catering staff to ensure food service flowed properly (including to-go boxes for remaining guests), with venue staff regarding lighting requests, and with transportation when you requested the party bus arrive earlier than scheduled. When a payment question arose from the bartender, I followed up with you and was directed to your mother-in-law for resolution. Family photo coordination is typically managed by the photography team. When asked by a bridesmaid, I clarified that this was outside my contracted scope, especially as the photographer had a multi-person team present. I remained respectful and professional despite some challenging interactions with the photography team during the evening. As outlined in my contract, vendor meals are provided during long event coverage, and my assistant and I stepped aside briefly to eat while ensuring event flow continued uninterrupted. Additionally, you were asked multiple times if you would like to sit and eat, and you expressed that you preferred to continue dancing and celebrating with guests. There was no designated sweetheart table for you and your husband as celebrating with your family and friends were your main focus, which is totally understandable. Most importantly, no concerns were expressed to me during the event, and I always welcome the opportunity to address feedback directly in real time. I genuinely wish you and your husband a lifetime of happiness. While I respect your perspective, I stand confidently in the work that was performed and the professionalism maintained throughout your wedding day.
