DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Wedding are expensive, emotional, and require trust—this is not a company that deserves yours. We hired Crimson Quarter Weddings & Events in March 2024 for our March 2025 wedding and had to fire them by November due to constant issues, excuses, and lack of professionalism. What became most concerning was how difficult it was to secure vendors. Multiple vendors stopped responding once they learned who our planners were. After ending our contract, this concern was confirmed by vendors who shared prior negative experiences working with this company. Because of this, we were forced to make multiple additional trips just to secure vendors ourselves—something we were paying them to handle. We also experienced chaotic, late-night communication and learned of inappropriate vendor communications related to their new venture, LUXXE by Crimson Quarter, while still managing our wedding. Instead of enjoying our engagement, we are fixing problems that never should have existed. If you value your time, money, peace, and wedding day—choose another company. Your wedding deserves better.
Response from vendor•Jan 13, 2026We’re sorry that Della and Jasmine were unhappy with the outcome of their experience. While we always respect a client’s right to share their perspective, two statements in this review require clarification for the sake of accuracy. 1. “No vendors will work with us” is not true. Every vendor this couple contracted with was sourced, vetted, and introduced by Crimson Quarter, including: •Wedding venue (BK House) •DJ •Harpist •Drag performers •Hair & makeup team In addition, we coordinated proposals and introductions for catering companies (including arranging five tastings), rental vendors, welcome reception venues, after-party locations, photographers, and hotel room blocks (which the couple later chose to book independently). We maintain long-standing professional relationships with reputable vendors across New Orleans, and those relationships are reflected in the contracts and proposals the couple signed. 2. The services were delivered — extensively. Although the couple purchased a partial-planning package, they received services that went far beyond that scope, including: •Two multi-day, in-person planning trips fully organized and managed by our team •Multiple venue walkthroughs and measurement sessions for floor planning •Tripleseat layouts and preliminary space design •Weekly Zoom planning meetings •Ongoing vendor coordination, scheduling, follow-ups, and itinerary preparation Regarding communication timing: our onboarding process asks clients for their preferred contact hours, and no alternate schedule was requested. Our team often works early mornings and late evenings to align with vendor availability and client needs. While we regret that the relationship ended before the wedding day, we stand behind the quality, professionalism, and scope of work provided. We wish Della and Jasmine nothing but the best moving forward. — Crimson Quarter Weddings & EventsBride
We were late to hiring a wedding planner until about two months out, when I realized I needed some help. Crimson Quarter weddings and events were the first to get back to me quickly , and set up a phone call, where I realized they were gonna be the ones for me. Not only were they extremely communicative, but they took everything that I had for them and and helped us to add a little bit "ourselves" Into the venue space. I gave them our florals and decorations and set them loose to do what they wanted and they knocked it out of the park. I am so thankful for Crimson Quarter, they helped us navigate rallying all of our vendors and communicating our needs, as well as setting up for us on the day of, coordinating different parts of our reception, and cleaning up after it was over. We couldn't have done it without them and I would hire them again for any event in the future if we happen to find ourselves back in New Orleans for anything special.
Thoughtful wedding planning
When we first reached out to Crimson Quarter Weddings & Events, we were overwhelmed destination wedding planners trying to make our New Orleans dream happen on a tight budget. What we found in Brandon and his team wasn't just wedding planners - we found people who truly cared about making our day perfect. The Moment Everything Changed Eight months into planning, we were heartbroken. We'd made the painful decision to cut our second line parade - that iconic New Orleans tradition we'd dreamed about since we got engaged. Every quote we received was over 2,000, and it just wasn't in our budget. Then Brandon looked me straight in the eyes and asked, "Do you want this?" When I nodded through tears, he didn't just say "maybe we can work something out." He explained how other companies inflate prices by bundling unnecessary fees, then told us Crimson Quarter would handle all the permitting and police escorts themselves. Our second line ended up costing literally half of every other quote we'd received. The Morning That Made Me Cry Happy Tears On our wedding morning, while I was getting my hair and makeup done, Brandon and Adam knocked on our door. Brandon was carrying a beautifully wrapped gift while Adam had a bottle of champagne and the most elegant champagne coupes. But what made me completely lose it? They had designed and purchased custom second line handkerchiefs just for us. I still tear up thinking about that moment - not just because of the thoughtful gifts, but because it showed how much they cared about every detail of our day. More Than Planners - They're Your New Orleans Family Throughout our entire eight-month journey, whenever I'd start spiraling about whether Uncle Bob would be happy with his hotel or if cousin Jenny would find the venue okay, Brandon and his team would gently remind us: "This is YOUR wedding. Your needs come first, and we'll take beautiful care of everyone else." And they did exactly that. Crimson Quarter didn't just plan our wedding - they made sure we actually got to enjoy being bride and groom in the most magical city in the world. If you're considering a destination wedding in New Orleans, stop looking. You've found your team
Genuine people, affordable pricing
Having never been married before, this was our first marriage and first planning of a wedding. The Crimson quartered team. I was especially attentive and helped me identify and develop from the things that we liked a vision for the wedding that they then helped implement in fun and creative ways that kept us under our top end wedding budget. We were able to take those savings and use it for a farewell brunch. The day after the wedding. They were so much fun to work with, and truly, you could tell. They cared that we were happy and that the wedding and the planning was a success
