“DJ Kashif was the DJ for the mehndi of my multi-cultural (Pakistani and Palestinian) wedding. Naturally, for a mixed Desi and Arab wedding, it's always a point of concern to make sure people from both cultures are enjoying the music and having a good time throughout the event. DJ Kashif did a fantastic job in his song selection for the event. Attendees of the event had absolutely no complaints about the music (which is extremely impressive for mixed weddings) and had everyone on the dance floor. He was able to play mehndi mixes that were brought last minute with zero issue, and had a great personality for livening up the crowd. The uplighting that he brought for the dancefloor completely changed the mood and got everyone reenergized too! For the venue we were at, he was able to fix issues related to the light/power going out quickly and was able to change the lighting too. Truly, from start to finish he did a great job and I only wish I found him earlier to DJ at the other events too.”

Joey’s attention to detail, including making sure he knew which specific versions of the songs we requested we wanted to play, and which music lined up with specific points in the schedule of events, was unmatched. Joey’s client portal made it easy to share our music choices for all these different parts of our big day. He paid close attention to our playlists/requests for the dance party while also mixing in some of his own selections, reading the room and ensuring everyone had something to dance to; this was especially impressive given that our guests ranged in age from infants to octogenarians! He was also sensitive to the nuances of a big family gathering: My dad and I don’t have a close relationship, so my mom and I did a mother-daughter dance in place of the traditional father-daughter one. When my dad put in a song request later in the evening, telling Joey he intended to ask me to dance with him to that song, Joey pulled me aside to make sure it was okay first before honoring the request.
