We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at Deity. The space is really eclectic in the best way. It balances elegance with a little Brooklyn quirk, especially in the cocktail hour room, which all of our guests loved. From start to finish, the planning process was simple and straightforward. You have one big meeting where everything gets laid out. After that, Anastasia, Caio, and the rest of the team were always quick to respond to emails when we needed to make adjustments. They were professional, organized, and made sure both we and our families felt taken care of throughout the day. Having almost everything in-house (e.g., everything less flowers, cake, photography) also made the whole process less stressful. Compared to other venues we looked at, Deity felt like a value and a way to make our guests feel like they were having an "authentic" NYC/Brooklyn wedding. The food and drinks were another highlight. The short rib was especially memorable, and the bar staff worked with us to create custom cocktails and pre-batch them so no one was stuck waiting in line. The DJ was flexible with our specific music tastes and vision for the evening and collaborated seamlessly when we brought in a drag queen for dinner, which turned into a huge hit with our guests. I’d also recommend booking the couple’s suite. It gave us a place to relax, get ready, and even host a pool party that added a really fun element to the day! Relaxing with our wedding guests earlier in the day was a really great way to connect with folks. Overall, Deity delivered on every level. We’re grateful to Anastasia, Caio, and the whole team for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.

We absolutely loved our wedding at The Sanctuary! We initially worked with Amelia and then with Arthur and Kat towards the end of our planning process. Every contact at The Sanctuary was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the space, especially having multiple different areas for guests to enjoy (the chapel for dancing/desserts, the tent for dinner/conversation, and the outdoor patio for smores!) and the beautiful NYC skyline in the background. The bridal suite where we all got ready was spacious and comfortable. I was a little nervous about the temperature in the tent during a November wedding, but it was very comfortable! We will always be grateful to The Sanctuary for our beautiful wedding!

Sound River Studios was the perfect venue for our May 2024 wedding! We had not initially considered a raw space for our wedding reception. However, after meeting with Una and discussing the seemingly infinite possibilities for the space (along with soaking in the spectacular views of NYC), we were completely sold on the venue. We are so glad we made the choice to celebrate our wedding at Sound River Studios! We took advantage of the dock at the venue and had our guests arrive to cocktail hour by boat which was a unique highlight. The dock is also a beautiful spot for photos! Una was beyond helpful in the planning process and she was always available to answer any questions we had or to brainstorm ideas with us and our vendors. We would highly recommend Sound River Studios to any couple looking to have a memorable NYC wedding!

We originally looked at more “industrial” venues because we wanted that intimate feel and didn’t love catering hall vibes. We found Renaissance as we live close by and loved it once we toured initially. They have the space of a catering hall but the experience of a single party venue. Food was great and we never felt like we were being uncharged/swindled. Even at one point we saw an error on the agreement and Lisa changed it no problem. She was a delight to work with and never made us feel like our ask was so unbelievable. Bridal suite was big enough for 10 people to get ready. Overall nothing but great things to say about Renaissance.

And our experience with Adriana leading up to the wedding was the best. She was super collaborative and responsive, we had multiple meetings there to make sure everything was perfect, and she did everything she could to make the day exactly what we wanted. Absolutely zero bad notes. 10000/10.

I DJ'd there in 2017, and I have an event there in one month. I went today for a site visit and was received warmly. We discussed all the details necessary to ensure that our client in common gets the best possible celebration. They look to foster good relationships with vendors before, during and after the events. Fun fact: they have carts for their vendors to load gear, how cool is that? It's those little details that make a difference for those of us who genuinely want to make your day special.

We could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than at Astoria World Manor. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, heartfelt, and above all, unforgettable. Tony, the Chief Operating Officer, was incredible in helping us coordinate every detail and making sure everything was settled for our big day. His professionalism and warmth gave us such peace of mind, and we truly felt taken care of at every step. William, the Maitre D', and Vicente, our Venue Coordinator, were equally amazing. They kept everything organized, neat, and running smoothly, which is no small task on a wedding day. One of the most special moments for us was having our first dance inside the venue before any of the guests came in. It was important for us to share that moment while the room was still pristine after our first look, and the team made sure it happened beautifully. William and Vicente kept everyone who arrived a little early entertained outside, making sure we had that private memory together. It is something we will cherish forever. The staff coordinated so seamlessly with all of our vendors, making setup effortless and stress-free. Every detail, from the flow of the evening to the care taken with our guests, showed just how experienced and attentive the team is. The service was flawless, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped inside. As someone who grew up in Astoria, it meant so much to me to celebrate such an important milestone here. The space was stunning, the food was delicious, and the entire staff made us feel like family. We truly could not have asked for more. Thank you, Astoria World Manor, Tony, William, Vicente, and the entire team for making our wedding day not just beautiful, but extraordinary. We will remember it forever with so much love and gratitude.

Our experience with the Douglaston Manor was an actual dream come true! From the moment we walked in to see the Manor, Kathy, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful. Relaxed, sweet, and so caring about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured or nervous and gently made suggestions which ended up making our night even better than we could have hoped. Working with Carlos our Maitre D and Michelle my Bridal Attendant was a blessing. Michelle was so attentive and helpful. Within minutes of meeting her, I felt like I was spending time with a good friend. She was so funny, kept me calm and literally did anything and everything I needed- most of the time without me having to ask her. The same could be said for Carlos. Just to give a small example, my fake eyelash starting come off a tiny bit. Without any eyelash glue on us, I was nervous about how we would fix the issue but The Manor proved how above and beyond they'd go when Carlos, unpromoted and unknown to me at the time, went out and brought me eyelash glue! It was a small gesture but it went a long way and showed me how devoted the Manor is to their clients. Michelle made sure he knew exactly what to get and she helped me fix it when he came back (which was unbelievably quick as well) . Carlos was fantastic at keeping my group organized and making sure the ceremony was perfect. We are so grateful to both of them. Aside from their exceptional service, the staff at the manor was outstanding- every room was impeccably decorated and arranged exactly as we had hope, all of the items we had brought with us for various aspects of the night were set up perfectly without instruction and the attention to detail was second to none. The food. I am biased seeing as it was my own wedding, but the food was incredible from start to finish. The cocktail hour sampling that Michelle left from my husband and I including EVERYTHING being served downstairs and was presented beautifully- time was clearly taken to make sure we were able to try the food but also have it presented to us in a really special way. Kathy had suggested we try an "off-menu" item, braised beef in a red wine sauce, and no surprise, it was easily the best tasting wedding dinner item I've had at any wedding. There are so many things that go into making a wedding day perfect and that means there are so many things that are easy to stress over. Not once during the planning process or on the big day did I ever feel worried or concerned. Everybody communicated clearly, checked and double checked things and did everything possible to ensure everything was perfect- not just great, but genuinely perfect. Oh, and the cost was VERY reasonable. Kathy worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our budget while making sure the elements we wanted were included. We are looking forward to going back to the manor for future celebrations and feel so thankful to have been treated so well. They made our day everything we ever could have hoped for!

Museum of the Moving Image is not your typical wedding venue - which is exactly what we wanted. BG, our venue coordinator was such a pleasure to work with. This was the first venue we visited and instantly knew it was the one for us, a lot of which is down to the level of service BG provided. We had just shy of 100 guests, reception in the main hall, and used the Red Stone Theatre for the ceremony. Our guests LOVED that they had access to the museum throughout the night, it was such a fun and interactive night for them. We're so glad we chose MOMI as our venue and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different and quirky, thank you to BG and the whole MOMI team!

Picking M. Wells as my wedding venue was the best decision I’ve ever made. You feel like you’re part of their family the moment you reach out. Sarah was so easy going and positive and flexible. Everything we asked, she said yes to. They are so supportive of whatever you want, whatever will make your day special and unique to you. The space is stunning and unique and can accommodate the ceremony and reception with different configurations to accommodate small to medium weddings. We had 75 guests and it was ideal. It’s intimate, cozy and just so special. The neighborhood is fun and trendy and makes for amazing pictures. And I promise you will not get better food for the price anywhere else. It’s the best deal in NYC. There is no set menu to choose from - you tell the chef what you like and they come up with amazing, inventive dishes, personalized to you and the season. The food was incredible and impressive and bountiful. We even had a poutine course after dessert! All my guests said my wedding was the most fun, unique wedding they had been to and everyone raved about the food. It was pure magic and love from start to finish. I would give anything to relive that day again. M. Wells forever ️

Thank you Barry and Amy! I cannot thank these two enough for making our wedding day the best day ever! They both went above and beyond to make our dream wedding come to life! We got married at the village club on July 12, 2024 and I could not be happier that we chose this venue! All our guests raved about the spectacular venue, amazing food and professionalism of the staff. Barry’s attention to detail, passion for what he does, and years of experience is the reason why having your wedding at the village club will be the best decision you will ever make. From the first day we booked the venue, Barry recommended incredible vendors and made the wedding process a breeze! Barry makes himself available 24/7 to answer questions, connect you with vendors and keep you calm! Even with an incredible venue, you need a capable staff to support your wedding day. Barry’s staff at the village club is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and diligent to making everything run smoothly the day of. The food is absolutely amazing! My guests came up to me all night raving about the food and saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. After our tasting, we knew we made the right decision choosing the village club for our special day! The village club itself has had some new renovations which we were lucky enough to have for our wedding. The ballroom is completely updated and refinished, the building repainted, the room for cocktail hour has new carpet and refinished chairs to match, and the patio overlooking the golf course has a new permanent pergola structure that opens and closes for shade with fans to keep your guests cool! The renovations to the village club are incredible and give the venue a fresh new look! Barry and Amy really run such a smooth operation the day of the wedding. From the moment we arrived, Amy told us where to go, what to do and where we had to be. Barry and Amy provided us with drinks for the bridal suite and made sure everyone was taken care of! They both kept checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were eating, drinking and having the best night ever. If you are trying to decide where to get married, please go see Barry and Amy at the Village Club at Lake Success and book your wedding with them. I promise you it will be the best night of your life and you will get the chance to work with great people who want to do everything in their power to make your day the most special day ever! Our wedding at Ravel was nothing short of extraordinary. From our very first phone call with Eman to the very last dance, the entire team made us feel supported, celebrated, and completely at ease. Our wedding planner, Eman, was an absolute star. Her organization, creativity, and calm presence kept everything on track. She understood our vision from day one and executed every detail flawlessly. We truly could not have asked for a better guide throughout this journey. My bridal attendant, Mrianda, was a lifesaver. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask — fixing my dress, keeping me hydrated, calming my nerves, and making sure I felt beautiful and comfortable all day long. Her kindness and attentiveness made a world of difference. A special thank-you goes to Anna and Joe, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the entire day ran smoothly. Whether it was coordinating timing, helping guests, or managing transitions, they handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. We felt so well taken care of, and our families noticed too. The venue itself is stunning — from the views, THE VIEWS, to the ambiance to the seamless flow of each part of the celebration. But what truly sets The Ravel apart is its incredible team. They made our wedding not just beautiful, but stress-free and joy-filled. Our guests were talking about our wedding for weeks after. All raving about the views, food, cocktail hour, and the overall incredible time they had. If you’re considering Ravel for your big day, do it. You’ll be treated like family, your vision will be brought to life, and you’ll walk away with memories that feel nothing short of magical.

If you have visited the Foundry, you know how amazing and beautiful it is, but what you don’t know before you work with them is how responsive and helpful they are once you have committed to them. We had about 130 guests and used the main room for the ceremony, the greenhouse room and space outside for the cocktail hour, the courtyard for the reception dinner, the main room again for the dancing, and the greenhouse room again for the after party (11 to midnight). We also rented the Du Val suite for getting ready, and it was a superb space for the groom’s party and extended family to get ready and hang out and also has the most beautiful garden with city views. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and vindicated our immediate love for the Foundry that we developed the first time we toured it, and the Foundry staff are extremely helpful and kind.

We worked with Chantal and Sasha for our 8/2023 wedding and could not have had a better experience. Chantal was so responsive, helpful, creative, patient, and overall just truly pleasant to work with. She listened to what we wanted and helped make our day feel so unique and special to us. The entire staff made our dream wedding day come true and I could not recommend the venue more. Sasha was our wedding attendant and so sweet and attentive and patient. She's been working at the venue for 19 years and her experience was so helpful to have! We moved cocktail hour out on the patio for an additional fee which was also greatly appreciated by our guests who got to take amazing photos and enjoy the gardens before our dinner - highly recommend considering if it's in your budget! Again, really enjoyed working with the entire NYBG team and specifically with Chantal and Sasha. We will thrilled with the outcome!

We had our wedding on the rooftop of Greats of Craft in September. We COULD NOT be happier with how the event turned out!!! First and foremost, Joe & Stella are awesome to work with - such friendly and genuine people. They made the planning process as stress-free as it could be, by being communicative, dependable, and accommodating. We already loved the venue, but meeting with them made it an easy decision to choose GoC. We held a mini-ceremony and the reception on the rooftop for 60 people. We wanted it to be less formal (like an “elevated party”) but still trendy, and GoC checked all the boxes. The vibes and setting were PERFECTION: the backdrop of the Queensboro Bridge at dusk for our ceremony; cute string lights with a brick wall and large screen for our slideshow, perfect weather, plenty of room for people to mingle, sit down to eat, and dance. The ENTIRE GoC team/staff were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and took great care of us and all of our guests. Shout out to Trey and Eddie!! We went with in-house catering for the food - Chef Chris is the best and everything tasted delicious!!! We got SO many compliments on the food from our guests. We still continue to rave about GoC being such a gem of an event space. Trying to find a reasonably-priced, high-quality wedding venue in NYC is difficult and sometimes discouraging. We feel so fortunate that we were able to have our wedding celebration here, it felt like a complete DREAM!!! Thank you, Joe & Stella and the whole GoC crew!!
