We started off as a duo of quirky plastic artists who wanted to try something new - capturing weddings in a unique way that combined truthfulness and creativity. Fast forward 15 years and many, many amazing weddings later, and we're still just as nervous and excited before each event as we were on day one. I guess it means we still care! I was raised in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. I was drawn to photography in middle school and would enter photos of our family pets or family backpacking trips in our local county fair. My passion for photography grew while working as a hiking guide in Yosemite National Park. I mean… who wouldn’t want a stunning photo of Half Dome? El Capitan? Yosemite Falls? But it has been photographing wedding and couples that I find the most fun and rewarding. I have found loving hearts, wild souls, and adventurous spirits to be my people. I strive to visually capture the “spirit” of my subjects and record an emotional memory of the occasion.
