I engaged her for day of coordinator and bridal valet services, but she was there for me through the entire process, always going above and beyond for every small detail. Everything that came up, she handled with such grace and provided amazing, rational advice (which you don't always get when talking to wedding vendors). Even when my husband cut his foot while stomping on the glass during our Jewish ceremony, there was Angie helping to bandage him up and, somehow, seamlessly coordinated the table set up during the cocktail hour at the same time. Bridal valet was a great add on to helping us all get ready in the bridal and groom suite. All my other vendors raved about how detailed her schedule was, helping everyone to know exactly when and where they needed to be. Three weeks later, my husband and I are still remarking how thankful we are that she was there with us on our wedding day.

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! I cannot recommend Gina enough! She was so on top of everything. She regularly checked in with us and made sure we were on schedule for an entire year leading up to our wedding, and I oftentimes forgot she had clients other than us because she was so attentive. Any time there was a problem with a vendor, Gina was swooping in to save the day. She got us upgrades with our hotel and truly had our best interest in mind throughout this entire process. I cannot imagine planning a wedding without her, she was such a huge help. I remember as I was arm and arm with my father, about to walk down the aisle I heard a baby start screaming (despite instructing guests that this was a child-free wedding). It was my turn to walk and I said, "Gina wait! there's a baby crying" and I'll never forget, she said "Don't worry, I put it in the elevator! You're good!" (with it's parent of course lol) One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing Lucid events.

Jenna and Amalia were absolutely amazing leading up to and through our wedding weekend. In the weeks beforehand they did a great job keeping us organized, tying up loose ends, mocking up decor, communicating with many vendors, and finding us a last minute videographer within budget. We had many moving parts during our wedding weekend and they were behind the scenes ninjas making sure that everything looked stunning and people were where they needed to be. From the first meeting we could feel their authenticity and care for making our wedding everything we wanted it to be, and they delivered that and more. They always made themselves available to us throughout the process and never made us feel like we were behind or unprepared though sometimes we definitely were. Our wedding weekend had numerous events, cultural moments, vendors, and moving parts especially because it was a summer camp-Indian-Peruvian-fusion wedding, but nothing seemed to dim this team’s ambition. Jenna’s enthusiasm and excitement were always a source of light and encouragement for us in some of the tougher days leading up to the wedding and Amalia’s cool demeanor and get stuff done attitude moved everything along with ease. Despite the tight schedule and challenges we threw at them, Jenna and Amalia made both me and my husband feel grounded after every interaction. Seeing their smiling faces in the crowd during the weekend events was always a source of comfort. They make an incredibly balanced and capable team. PS they were so great with our pup too!

Hiring Allie as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! As a queer, interracial couple with a super diverse group of friends and family, we were nervous about finding someone who would respect and celebrate us, but Allie was exactly what we needed and more. Allie stepped in two weeks before the wedding and immediately took over all the vendor communication, making sure everything was handled so we could just enjoy the process. She didn’t just manage logistics—she managed everything: family drama (ugh, lifesaver), unexpected changes due to Hurricane Milton, and even the fact that most of our bridal party couldn’t make it. Somehow, she filled in the gaps so seamlessly that we barely noticed anything was missing. What stood out the most was how personal she made the experience. She took the time to learn everyone’s names, stayed calm and chill no matter what, and listened to us when we were stressed, always reminding us to focus on each other. Allie kept the day running at our pace, gave us time to be together, and even made sure we looked great in all our photos. She was laid-back yet professional, blending in perfectly with the vibe of our wedding while carrying out our vision flawlessly. All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. Overall we were blown away by Dana and her team’s professionalism and dedication to our wedding. Dana’s communications were always prompt, detailed, and thorough every step of the way, making the planning process a breeze. She lead our rehearsal too which is exactly what we needed. Her team also went above and beyond the day-of to ensure every aspect of our special day was executed flawlessly.
