My name is Judy Leung (she/her) and Found Floral is based in San Francisco Bay area & beyond. Found floral is rooted in intentional and modern approach to floral and event design. With a focus on creating a flowerful experience that celebrates the culture and stories that are uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Judy at Found Floral was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our wedding planning process! I knew I wanted florals that were textured and unique and not too cookie-cutter or traditional, so this was my top criteria when searching for a florist. Judy was able to masterfully bring the vintage backyard dinner party feel to our wedding which had 260 guests and still make our wedding feel unique (each table had different tropical and rarely seen flowers). Over 20 of our guests have mentioned to me since how much they loved the florals at our wedding since then - so many people have complimented our florals and shared that they are their favorite florals they've ever seen at a wedding and are still thinking about them today (some guests even have group texts focused specifically on our wedding florals)! The other big thing Judy did for us was the florals for the mandap (arch) for the ceremony - it was so spectacular and such an incredible focal point! It was raining for our entire ceremony so we were grateful to have a pop of color against the grey backdrop. The Found Floral team also used such unique flowers for the arch and laid them out in a way that was the perfect balance of textured but also refined (without being stiff or overly formal). My favorite part of working with Judy was that she took the time to understand my vision but then was able to operate and make decisions independently to bring that vision to life. There are 10000 things to do during wedding planning and it was such a relief to know we were in good hands with Judy and not having to make tiny decisions like picking out individual flowers or greenery or designing much of anything. I would work with Judy again in a heartbeat - she has such a chic unique style and is warm and makes her clients feel so comfortable at every stage of the process. Found Floral truly is the best florist in the Bay Area!!

ImPerfect Events

Berkeley, CA
  • Planner
  • Offers 4 services
  • Starts at $1,950

At ImPerfect Events, we believe the most meaningful celebrations are human and emotion-driven — which means they’re often a little messy, sometimes unpredictable, and never truly “perfect.” Those moments are usually where the joy lives, and what make a day feel unique and real. We were founded on the belief that weddings and events should be about love and community. They should feel warm, welcoming, and joyful — and we believe that same ease can exist in the planning process, too. In an overwhelming world, our goal is to create a planning experience that brings clarity, organization, and calm without losing heart.

We absolutely loved working with Sydney! She was amazing from start to finish, so sweet, incredibly professional, and truly a calming presence. If there were any hiccups, she let us know in such a thoughtful, reassuring way that we never felt stressed for a second. Her overall help, organization, and professionalism made our wedding day run perfectly. We couldn’t imagine having anyone better by our side. Highly recommend!

Carrie is a wonderful photographer and person! We booked her to take our engagement and wedding photos and we were very happy with the results. Neither of us love getting our photo taken but she made the whole process easy and comfortable. She recommend a bunch of beautiful locations for our engagement shoot that were in our area and worked around our schedule. Our wedding photos were great (even got some with us and our dogs) and she got lots of amazing shots of our guests enjoying themselves. We highly recommend booking Carrie for your special day! We’re so glad we had the Cosmo Alley Cats as our wedding band, they brought such amazing energy and elegance to the evening. They looked sharp, sounded incredible, and created a romantic, lively atmosphere that felt both classic and fun. Emily, the lead singer, was outstanding. She was super professional, communicative, and really helped everything run smoothly. Bluma: The Artful Botanic
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Berkeley, CA
  • Florist
  • Starts at $1,200

I started Bluma: The Artful Botanic in the summer of 2013. I was doing flowers for several friends’ weddings when I decided to take the plunge and open a small business. Bluma is a delight and an incredible learning experience. I love it most because it combines two of my passions, flowers and art. Bluma: The Artful Botanic is based in Berkeley, CA. I design for weddings, anniversaries, memorials, bnai mitzvot, birthday parties, fundraisers, and other special events. I am open to inquiries of all kinds.

Bluma: The Artful Botanic was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding flowers. From the moment we connected, the team was incredibly helpful, kind, and bubbly in their communication style. They took the time to understand our vision and provided thoughtful suggestions that resulted in truly fresh, inspiring, and beautiful floral arrangements. I was living in NJ during the time of wedding planning, and they even texted me about what flowers were in season and were transparent with the pricing. Bluma's attention to detail and passion for their craft shone through in every aspect of their work, and they helped make our special day even more beautiful. I would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a top-notch wedding florist.

Nora Spanish Cuisine
Rating: 3.3 (3 reviews)
Berkeley, CA
  • Caterer
  • Starts at $3,000

Ñora Cocina Española is a full service catering company, serving the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. We strive to bring you the essence of the Spanish dining experience, taking care of the details to ensure the event is as seamless and stress-free as possible. Ñora can handle everything from menu planning (including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options), event coordination, rentals, decorations, staffing and more! Our team of experts can help make any vision into a reality. Whether it’s a spectacular wedding of 200 guests or an intimate gathering for 20, no event is too large or small.

My husband and I are from different cultures. We have relatives who think paprika is spicy and friends who love more flavor. We wanted food that would be a crowd-pleaser for all our guests. We were also on a strict budget. Every other caterer wanted to charge way more for food that didn't sound all that exciting. I was so happy when I found Nora. We went with three paellas, tapas, and a grazing board. The paellas were a big hit, and everyone got to have a delicious meal. It was also a cool experience for our guests to see the paellas being cooked. Alexa, Emily, and the staff were great, but they are quite busy, so communication can be slow. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Nora for your event. I knocked down a star because their communication skills aren't the best, but they were flexible on all our menu requests and were very accommodating to our last-minute timeline.

Peek Media
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Berkeley, CA
  • Videographer
  • Storytelling style
  • Starts at $1,900

Casey Peek is the founder of Peek Media, where he crafts cinematic, story-driven wedding films with an authentic, documentary touch. Based in the Bay Area, Casey captures real moments with heart and artistry, creating films that let you feel your day all over again.

Peek Media captured the vibe of our small wedding in a way that’s allowed us to go back and relive the day time and time again. They were a natural and unobtrusive fit during the actual day. Their videographers were easy to work with and blended into the background. Despite their minimalist presence they managed to get all of the rights shots to capture the most important moments throughout the ceremony and reception. We were impressed that our videos managed to include all of our guests and gave us a sense of what was going on at places that we didn’t have the time to be at during the actual day. As a bonus they worked well with our photographer and other vendors. They were a natural part of the overall program and contributed towards lowering stress and keeping the day moving along seamlessly. We were thrilled with a short recap video included in our package that was edited to a main song we used in our wedding- easily accessible to share with family and friends. Thank you for creating great memories for us!

Ivan Duran Photo
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Berkeley, CA
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,000

I am an award-winning photographer based in San Francisco and the Bay Area. I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a kid, I loved painting & drawing just as much as I loved taking apart wrist watches and fixing car radios. It wasn't until I picked up a camera as a teenager that I found an activity that combined my artistic sensibilities with my love of technical challenges. Photography has been my passion ever since. I bring a happy, relaxed energy to every job I shoot. In general, I'm more of a listener than a talker. When I'm not taking pictures, you'll find me salsa dancing, or playing ukulele very badly, though joyfully!

Ivan Duran is an outstanding photographer. His talent and creativity shine through in every shot. Ivan made us feel comfortable, capturing natural and candid moments effortlessly. The final images were beautifully composed and edited, exceeding our expectations. If you need a photographer who goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Ivan Duran Photography.

With its vaulted ceiling, massive stone fireplace, and stained-glass windows featuring heraldic crests of the great universities of the world, it's reminiscent of many a European cathedral. Light from the floor-to-ceiling windows warms the redwood paneling and suffuses the Hall in a golden glow. (Review for catering/events/venue service) I don’t have enough great words for Nicole and her team at Berkeley City Club. I planned my wedding entirely “remotely” from out of state and Nicole was always ready to answer my millions of questions and make sure everything was being planned to perfection. I had actually never seen the hotel in person, and I must say the architecture, foliage, vibes, etc are better and MORE stunning in person than in photos. Truly a breathtaking venue that transports you with its historic arches, details, etc. Wedding food is often lackluster in my experience, but I was thoroughly impressed by all of the plated dinner dishes we were served. My salmon was perfectly cooked and guests complimented their meals as well. They were also able to accommodate all gluten free food as I have celiac disease, which was the cherry on top. Additionally, a special shout out to the staff who worked the event day-of. Everyone was kind with bright smiles, and treated me and everything/everyone else with care.
