About this venue

Erzulie is the Haitian voodoo spirit of love, beauty, and dance. Like the spirit herself, our space comes in many forms. During the week, we are a jazz club serving delicious food and craft cocktails. By week’s end, we transform into a nightclub and event space with tasty drinks and enchanting vibes. Found on the border of the Bushwick and Bed-Stuy neighborhoods of Brooklyn, NY, our café and backyard garden will transport you from the busy city streets to the lush Haitian tropics.

    Exactly what we wanted - Non-traditional & FUN

    From day one, Chris and the Cafe Erzulie team made planning our wedding feel effortless with their open communication and willingness to answer every question we threw their way. They transformed a backyard into exactly what we envisioned, a ceremony space that flowed seamlessly into a lively reception area. We also were able to use their sister bar across the street as our dinner space, which was a very unique experience and gave our guests a mini surprise. The staff stayed sharp throughout the night, keeping everything running smoothly without us having to think twice about logistics. Chris is really a class act. From the moment we toured, he was a gem and unlike the other stuffy managers at other venues. They were generous from the beginning and that is what made us trust them to be the space for our important day. Also, all of the staff is extremely approachable and fun - they fit right into our celebration and felt like part of our crew. The food was delicious, and the whole vibe of the space felt perfect for us.. We couldn't imagine a better venue, and we're so grateful for everything they did to make our day special.

    We love Cafe Erzulie!

    My husband and I were looking for a fun venue where we could have a ceremony and reception all in one. Our priorities were great drinks, plenty of food, and being able to dance. We wanted something that felt personal and joyous. Cafe Erzulie was INCREDIBLE. The staff are all so sweet and kind and helpful, and we ended up throwing a party that felt like us. We had minimal flowers, and the space still looked absolutely beautiful. I'm so grateful to the entire Cafe Erzulie staff for making our wedding so special!!
