About Joie Elie Photography & Cinematography

Hello there, My name is Joe Kuan and I am the creative director of Joie Elie Photography & Cinematography. At the beginning of 2012, my wife- Vickie and I made a major decision to re-brand our company name from VIG Designers LLC to Joie Elie photography, named after two of our beloved daughters Joie and Elie. At the 10th anniversary of our wonderful marriage, my vision is that Joie Elie Photography is a boutique studio owned and operated by the family with a personal touch and always keeps the best interests of the next generation in mind (after all, we only have one earth).
In order to provide you with the best visual service, we continue to train and team up with commemorative and award-winning visual artists who are highly skilled in photography and cinematography productions. We firmly believe that all human desire is unfailing love. It is amazing. Just simply by seeing a picture or a video clip of someone, your brain instantly makes the connection to the most memorable things about them. Life goes on unscripted. As your family historians, we look forward to being part of every major milestone in life and immortalizing your best memories in time.

Professional, Collaborative, and Outstanding
Joe and Vickie were amazing for our wedding. They have an amazing eye for composition and light and are able to direct bodies as needed. They snap posed and candid shots exquisitely, capturing the feel of our entire wedding party. Joe's intuition for weddings is unmatched. My husband and I left the wedding for a couple a minutes to step away from all the hustle and bustle, and he was able to sniff us out! It was honestly a blessing because he capture some amazing couple shots of us in the nighttime with a beautiful background. Joe and Vickie were extremely prompt and sent us some "sneak peek" photos within 24 hours! They were amazing and cannot wait for the photos and video! You cannot go wrong with Joie Elie and you will not be disappointed one bit!

Vickie and Joe were great to work with. I can't tell you how many people have told my husband and I how stunning our wedding photos are. One of our friends asked "is that out of a fairy tale or real life". The quality of the photos was really impressive and the way he was able to capture the light made all the difference in the photos. His professionalism the day of really made an impression on my husband and I, along with our guests. I believe one of guests said "he is the real deal". All in all we couldn't be happier with the service Joie Elie provided leading up to our wedding, the day of and of course, the final result of the photos.

Vickie and Joe were PHENOMONAL. They were professional, responsive and prepared. They brought our vision to life. We were apprehensive about professional photos on our wedding day since we have never taken any but they made us feel like naturals!!

Incredible team which did a stellar job for our wedding in the Madison Hotel in January. Extremely professional and collaborative throughout the process.
