The Resonant Officiant

Lead Officiant

My Grandfather was one of the first people in my life to hand me a microphone, and I have found myself holding one ever since. My name is Kaitlin, and I go by The Resonant Officiant. To “resonate” means to “ produce or be filled with a deep, full, reverberating sound” and my goal is to co-create a ceremony that leaves both the guests and the couple with a sense of connection, hope, and lasting memory. Our ancestors were deeply rooted in ritual practices, and while those exact rituals may not fit quite the same as they once did, they brought people together as a strengthened unit - a sense of belonging all beings deserve to experience.

My practice as a yoga instructor has taught me how to cultivate a sense of presence and connection, while my background as a cheerleading coach allows me to lead with confidence. However you choose to highlight the ceremony on the big day, I can seamlessly incorporate your style and the energy you are seeking to set the tone and make a lasting impact.

    We knew right away that Kaitlin from The Resonant Officiant was the right fit for our ceremony. She responded to every question we had quickly and understood what we needed without us having to explain ourselves over and over. On our wedding day, she was patient with all the photos we took and didn't rush us through a single moment. Kaitlin had also picked a bible verse that was so beautiful and spoke directly to our relationship. Her work was straightforward but powerful, and she brought real heart to our vows. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant to marry us.

    If you don’t hire TRO, what are you even doing?

    Picture it, Clayton NJ, 2025. You’re about to have the spooky wedding of your dreams in the middle of the woods, but you’re not quite sure how to start or even close out your ceremony. Kait was there the entire way. Perfectly curating the ceremony to our style. We laughed, we cried, and I didn’t poop my pants from anxiety because I knew she had us taken care of . We are not religious, but wanted to do some sort of ritual that captures us as a couple. No hand fasting, no sand, no unity candles. None of them seem quite right and then bam, Kait comes in with an idea not only have I never seen before, but it’s so perfectly us as a couple it brought tears to my eyes. She knew we were both artists and had us create a picture together. The first piece of art we created as one unit. Our hands were shaky so it’s wonky, but it’s my favorite thing ever. I’m still not sure why you’re reading this and haven’t hired her already.

    I couldn’t imagine my day without her

    Picking the right efficient wasn’t high on my priority list, but now I couldn’t imagine our day without her. You can tell from the first time you talk to Kait how genuine and caring she is. She made communication and planning so easy. Whether you know exactly what you want your ceremony to be like or have no idea (like me) she will make it perfect. I was a bit flustered walking down the aisle until I turned the corner and saw Kate smiling face and it reminded me that everything was all right. I could not recommend her enough. I would’ve paid twice the price to have Kate there with us again.

    Perfection
