Above and Beyond for Our City Hall Elopement
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Erica as our elopement photographer at the New York City Clerk’s Office. I reached out on short notice, and she was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, making the entire process feel effortless and stress-free from the start. On the day of our elopement, Erica was extremely flexible and kind. She graciously accommodated a last-minute request to arrive 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, so we didn’t have to push too late into the day due to another appointment we had. During the session, we absolutely loved her documentary-style photography, but she also provided guidance when needed and offered great suggestions. Having her quietly behind the scenes resulted in beautiful, candid moments of us laughing and truly enjoying the day. After the ceremony, we unexpectedly needed to wait in an additional line to receive an extended marriage certificate, and although this took longer than expected, Erica patiently waited outside for us so we could get a few shots of us celebrating with a hot dog, which was a very New York thing we wanted to do! :) The turnaround time for the finished images was also quicker than expected. She even included some extra images beyond what was included in our package, which was such a generous and thoughtful surprise. We are so grateful for Erica’s flexibility and dedication, and couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone planning an elopement in NYC.
