Hi! I’m Becky Sexton-Ellison, owner and chef of Mountain Heart Catering. I’ve been cooking since I was tall enough to reach the stove, learning from my mom, grandmother, and babysitter. Cooking is my passion, and I love making people smile with homemade Southern food. I was the head cook at my parents’ restaurant for years, and my uncle owned the Fox and Hounds Restaurant in Newport. Now, I bring that rich heritage to every event. Whether it’s a wedding or a backyard party, I’m here to make your day amazing — one delicious bite at a time.

What sets me apart is my heart — every dish I create is rooted in tradition, family, and a genuine love for making people happy through food. I don’t just cook; I personalize each menu to reflect your taste and vision. With years of hands-on experience, a deep Southern culinary heritage, and a flexible, client-focused approach, I bring both comfort and creativity to the table. One of Our Fav Caterers!
As a wedding coordinator and DJ, working with Becky is always a pleasure. She is so easy to work with and has such amazingly good food. She is always on time and has the abilities to modify a menu for anyone’s needs, including food allergies!
