When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. Our entire reception, her personality and playful demeanor alone kept the energy up with our guests and she made sure that my guests were dancing all night long. I had so many different specific requests for what should be played and what shouldn’t at the reception and ceremony, and Maggie rolled with the punches perfectly in accommodating us to craft the perfect Vibe for both events. “Ryan is truly the jack of all trades, the absolute kindest human being, and incredibly professional. We are SO glad he was a (major!) part of our wedding day! He was super communicative when we had questions, helped give us some advice, and *!!!even learned a new song just for us!!!* We had just attended a friends wedding and the music was super unrelatable to my fiance (husband now lol) and our friends. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING.
