When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). From the very first meeting, he was an absolute pleasure to work with: professional, easygoing, and genuinely passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. The dance party was one of the parts of our wedding I was most looking forward to (besides actually getting married, of course), and Chris completely delivered. We built out our song preferences for each part of the night using the Vibo app, which made the process fun and incredibly easy. Chris has just about every song imaginable in his library. I feel music and the emcee often makes or breaks a great wedding, so I spent considerable time reviewing possible DJs to work with. We ended up going to DJ Addison, who at the time was considered a "first-year DJ." He exceeded all expectations. Addison was simply a treat to work with in the planning stages and was exceptionally on point and professional during the wedding day. He's funny but classy, professional but not uptight, willing to make on-the-fly changes, and kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. From his bridal party introductions to saying goodbye at the end of the night, he was simply great. Our wedding was moved inside at the last minute due to rain and he somehow relocated his setup on the fly and didn't complain or seem stressed during the chaos. DJ Torpedo offers a really wonderful music planning app that is easy to understand and pick your songs from ceremony to reception. The app has YouTube integration that allows you to easily assemble your playlists. We were bummed and worried - hopeful that ours would be fun and get people out there! Ryan was AMAZING.
