My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. I started photographing weddings in 2021, and it ignited a passion in me that I haven't been able to turn off. After capturing nearly 100 weddings for other businesses, I decided it was time to open my own. When you don't find me with a camera in hand, you'll find me cheering from the stands at my son's hockey games, grinding in the gym on leg day, busy in the kitchen making my famous shepherd's pie, or lounged on the couch with a cup of coffee and a playlist, scribbling stories in my notebook.

“Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”
