Hi, I’m Tara—also known as Talula—and I’m a firm believer that photos are memories frozen in time. I’ve been capturing everything and everyone around me for as long as I can remember, starting with Polaroids and flip phones before upgrading to my first real camera at 19. I haven’t put it down since. I’m married to my best friend of 12+ years, and together we’re raising a beautiful little girl. When I’m not behind the camera or editing, I’m most likely crafting using my Cricut or spending quality time with the people/animals I love (like my dog Quinn).
My work can best be described as candid, journalistic, and thoughtfully unique. I never want my sessions to feel cookie-cutter— my goal is to capture what makes you special. Photography brings me such a mix of peace, excitement, and creative challenge. I’m especially drawn to genuine, in-between moments. I want your photos to bring you right back to how it felt, every time you look at them.

Personable, Quality Photographer
When my husband and I first met Tara for our engagement shoot, we were nervous and excited but Tara made us look so comfortable and brought out the fun and relaxed versions of us. We love our engagement photos so much and then our wedding day photos were flawless. Not only did she do a great job, but she works effortlessly with our vendors and made the whole day stress free. 10/10 recommend and will use her in the future!
