To have the option of an outdoor experience with a reliable (and stunning) indoor space is a gift in Oregon with our sometimes unpredictable weather conditions. We have found this to be a special place that couples may celebrate their best day ever with the ease of so many inclusions already in house. And more importantly, the experience and care from the staff is really sincere as well. They really strive to support the best interest of the couple and have always helped us to keep their experience at the helm. We do a little 'happy dance' when we get the news that we get the opportunity to work with them and care for a couple together! :)

My husband and I had our wedding at Amaterra, and it was the most beautiful day. Katie Carver from Amaterra worked seamlessly with our planner, Katy Kamali, to bring all of our dreams to life. The space didn’t need much to dress it up, and Amaterra already had a lot on hand we were able to utilize including beautiful cross back chairs! While the space was amazing, the FOOD was absolutely one of the highlights of the night for everyone. We had so much fun choosing what would be on the menu at our tasting, and the dinner did not disappoint. Even the desserts we ordered to supplement our Dream Cakes cake were DELICIOUS! We would recommend Amaterra to anyone looking for a magical space to host their wedding - thanks again to Katie, Katy and team for everything!

My wife and I wanted to get married in a beautiful space, but we didn't want to be forced into a traditional, religious ceremony. Sanctuary Hall was the perfect venue! It's beautiful, with stained glass, old wood, lots of space, even a balcony. It's a very old building, with a good feeling to it. As soon as we saw it, it was easy to picture our ceremony there. Steve was a joy to work with - he was super-accommodating, the paperwork was simple, and he offered us all the options we needed. Additionally, the price was far less than most other places we had looked at. There was a minister available if we wanted, but we chose to have an ordained friend perform the service, which worked out fine. Steve was willing to move around furniture, let us use whichever rooms we wanted for preparation, changing, signing of documents, and so on. There was also an organist – Grant – available for the service. He was also amazing to work with, coming up with arrangements of music for us. Everyone was able to meet for a rehearsal a few weeks before the ceremony, which helped things run smoothly. The actual ceremony was beautiful, with everything coming together as planned. They even rang the bell for us as we left the church :) I highly recommend Sanctuary Hall to anyone looking for an amazing space in Portland. Easy to get to, garage parking nearby, and just an all-around excellent experience. ----- This review was produced without the use of AI, generative technology, grammar-checking/suggesting software, chatbots, or other assistive tools, other than a simple spell checker. Ecotrust was wonderful to work with while planning a wedding during COVID. We were worried things were not going to be how we wanted them, but they ended up being even better! The Ecotrust team was so flexible and generous during the uncertain times and made the process easy for us. We had our ceremony on the gorgeous rooftop and our intimate reception in the BIlly Frank Jr Room - both lovely spaces. Thank you, Ecotrust, for helping us celebrate!

Where to even begin with our review of the Evergreen and the amazing team that truly made our wedding dreams come true. My husband and I knew we wanted a true to Portland rainy day romantic wedding. The Evergreen brought to life every detail of our vision and was honestly everything we imagined and then some. From the incredible balcony and staircase, to the hardwood floors and the exposed brick, and the perfect Portland bar “Loyal Legion” for cocktail hour, the space is perfection and offered endless possibilities. The hard thing about endless possibilities is bringing them to life- and YVONNE helped us every step of the way. Outside of answering every email so quickly- Yvonne never offered anything less than thorough answers, amazing support to our vision, and endless incredible ideas and options- she really made planning our wedding FUN. I’ve noticed in the wedding industry when you share your vision it becomes set in stone and your team goes to execute it and that is that. Yvonne was patient through every hypothetical question and possible change- and truly made us feel like the space and the day was our oyster and she was willing to help us make it whatever our hearts desired. Our wedding couldn’t have gone any more perfect and we truly owe this to the evergreen- and Yvonne who guided the day perfectly. I am a planner through and through- and Yvonne couldn’t have been more of a saving grace and sounding light on our wedding day. She had every detail and minute planned to a tee- and kept our very rowdy group on schedule (no easy task). We cannot begin to express our gratitude for the evergreen team and the perfect wedding day they gave us.

My new wife Brandi and I LOVED Union Pine! It was a beautiful venue, and it had all the amenities we needed for the big day. Jess the venue manager was a pleasure to work with. We did the weekend package option for the venue and had the venue from Friday till Sunday. This was perfect for us because it allowed us to do the wedding rehearsal dinner at the same venue as the wedding. This helped us out a lot because we were planning this wedding from out of state. We visited a few venues in Portland, and this was by far the most breathtaking! Our out of state guests loved visiting Portland and enjoyed the venue's location to everything downtown.

Easton Broad

5.0

Portland, OR
  • Up to 150 guests

  • Starts at $1,710

Voted Oregon Wedding Day Magazine's Best Portland Wedding Venue in '24 and '25! Centrally located just blocks from the Moda Center, Easton Broad is an industrial-chic, city venue perfect for the modern couple. While we lean into the greenhouse vibes, with a collection of over 100 houseplants, this intimate venue is a blank canvas that can accommodate groups from 20 to 200. Hire your dream team of vendors or ask us for our personalized recommendations! Need a little more space? We can help you obtain the permits necessary to utilize the sidewalk, right outside our doors, for cocktail hour overflow. This will allow much more flexibility for ceremony to reception "flips" with a higher guest count, and is also a great option for food trucks.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Wheelchair accessible
  • Provides lighting and sound

Venue considerations

  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Does not provide event staff
  • No in-house catering options
Hiring Easton Broad was hands down the best decision we made for our destination wedding! Planning a wedding from another state is no easy fete, but Kelly helped us with so much, we never had to worry about details being missed. We only ever saw the venue twice- first when we toured it and fell in love, and not again until our wedding day, when we fell in love all over again! And the time between, Kelly was so quick to answer all of our questions (and there were tons!); we'd get responses within an hour and sometimes even in the middle of the night. It's very clear that she's passionate about what she does, and has been doing this for a long time. We are so fortunate to have found Easton Broad and it will hold a very special place in our hearts for the rest of our lives. To Kelly and her entire team, thank you so much for caring and making our wedding day even better than we could have ever imagined!
