Oh my goodness, Michelle and her entire team were absolutely the best! Michelle is such an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. Design meetings were so fun and she asked great questions and really understood what were looking for, even when we could not fully articulate it at first. She pulled up helpful example photos live and really crafted the most beautiful artistic vision. In our final design meeting, she created real example arrangements so we could see how things would look in terms of volume and with the different vase options, which was so helpful. She has a fantastic stock of different styles of vases and candles/candle holders, and it was easy to pick something beautiful. We also appreciated her design insight on candles and were really happy with the candles and arrangements we selected. We originally planned on getting married outdoors and attaching flowers to a gazebo, but it rained day-of, and Michelle gets absolute bonus points for rearranging plans at the last moment! She went to see the indoor arch option that was already available at the venue and understood we wouldn't like it, and she went out of her way to rent a beautiful arch that meshed with our artistic vision - and we LOVED it! The ceremony floral artistry was unique and so beautiful and we were so happy with how it turned out. Michelle and her team were so kind and caring and easy to work with day-of as well, we were so appreciative and happy to have them there. The personal items were beyond incredible! I loved my bouquet so much and wish I could have kept it forever, it was everything I had dreamed of and more! My husband chose the full lapel boutonniere and it turned out fantastic and looked so good! He thought it was beautiful, cool, and different, and provided visual interest. We also appreciated Michelle's attention to detail with the designs and their sizes; I am a petite woman and she crafted a bouquet that was the perfect size and not overwhelming. Closer to the wedding, tariffs were introduced, and we really appreciated Michelle's transparency and up-front communication about the different options. She provided a high degree of flexibility depending on comfort level, and it made a potentially stressful situation much easier. We were really happy with the choices she provided us. All in all, we are SO happy we chose Something's Blooming! Our guests continue to rave about the gorgeous floral designs and we are over the moon with how they turned out. Thank you so much Michelle!

Kira is an artist first and foremost. My vision was earthy/midsommar and Kira delivered. She was so great with working in my budget which is so scary when it comes to flowers. The flowers came out so beautifully. I made everything white and ivory and told her I was leaning on her for all the color and she made it happen. I cried when I saw my Chuppah for the first time. Wow! All I can really say about working with Maria Jose at Lovelia Floral is just wow! I've known Maria Jose for years, so when I had a couple still in need of a florist she was the first person I reached out to. Let me tell you, I've always known that she is attentive and detail oriented, and really likes to make sure that her clients have the full vision, but I was still blown away by the night and day difference between her and other florists I talked to. She didn't just ask for table count, centerpiece type, and color palette like so many others, she actually took the time to understand what was important to the couple and their wedding day. This couple was getting married in Camarillo, where the brides family has lived and worked for generations. Meanwhile, the grooms family is full of botanists and park rangers. This meant that it was super important to them that the flowers be from local farmers and be in-season flowers that would be able to tolerate the hot summer day. They wanted an experience for their guests, and one main show-stopping design with the pergola, and for the other smaller details to all play back into that main piece. They wanted something that felt fun, and natural, with a hint of whimsy and some soft elegance. Lovelia came up with the PERFECT design. From wrapping the pergola in greenery, to hanging flower chains that created curtains for guests to walk through and enter the wedding, the guest experience was immediately defined by this epic piece. That same pergola served as their alter, and the backdrop of their sweetheart table, and she made sure that it effortlessly transitioned through the evening, always being picture perfect. The bud vases were perfectly balanced, adding more whimsy while staying simple and elevated, and the piece to hide the ugly BBQ that would have otherwise been in every wedding photo was a true work of art. The ceremony and reception space were one and the same, with 8 tables needing to be fully set up in just an hour, and Maria Jose and her team made sure to stay and help make sure that ever table had the perfect arrangement and every candle was lit. Start to finish, Maria Jose made sure that we were always on the same page. She gave advice and input, she steered the couple back to center when they got a bit off course, she listed to their concerns and took their priorities into account at every step. I will always always always refer every couple I can to Lovelia.

HNY Blzm, LLC

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

HNY Blzm, LLC was founded in 2019, as a part-time way for me to express my love for design and flowers. I took a break from florals and building my business during the 2020 pandemic, and soon realized that I could not live without it in my life. I believe that flowers are more than just pretty decorations and have true benefits to ones mental, emotional, & overall wellbeing. I absolutely love designing custom arrangements for my clients. Every arrangement I make is personal to me and I want it to mean just as much to my clients. I hope to get the opportunity to work with you!

Working as a wedding planner, I know firsthand how important it is to have calm, reliable, and collaborative vendors on the big day. My couple decided last minute to pivot from DIY flowers to hiring a florist, and Farryn and her team at HNY Blzm absolutely delivered. Even though they came into the planning process later, they were so easy, calm, and flexible to work with. On the wedding day, their team was punctual, professional, and worked seamlessly with me to transition floral pieces from the ceremony to cocktail hour, making the most of both the arrangements and the space. What I loved most? They didn’t need handholding. As a planner, that’s HUGE. Their team knew exactly what to do, handled their work beautifully, and kept everything low stress-which is such a gift on a wedding day. I can’t say this about every vendor, but I can say it confidently about them: they’re amazing to work with. If you want florals done with grace, ease, and professionalism, I highly recommend Farryn and her HNY Blzm team.

Hijinx Flowers

From a background in the film and television industry to currently working in the wedding industry, I've brought my love of visual style and flowers together. My favorite aspect of working on weddings is working with the couple to figure out the style that speaks to them. From sleek and modern, to romantic and lush I can make it happen.

I think flowers are the most important part of the aesthetic for any event- they quite literally bring LIFE to the experience, along with color and softness and movement. I found the perfect person for the job in Jackie and I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants their florals to be artistic and professional! Jackie nailed down the specifics of my color palette when I said I wanted “warm citrus tones.” She totally understood the loose vibe that I was looking for, and confirmed that when she sent me mood boards and specifications ahead of time. She worked within my budget, waking up early to get flowers from the LA Flower Market. She even found a way to incorporate my friends by hosting a flower garland making party! She was the vendor I didn’t have to worry about- I completely trusted she would be where she needed to be, she would understand my vision, and she would make sure things ran seamlessly. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure and her arrangements have character. I am going to use Jackie for all of my events going forward!

Elizabeth Grace Floral

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Thousand Oaks, CA

Elizabeth Grace Floral is a Los Angeles–based floral design and event décor studio specializing in distinctive floral environments for weddings, corporate events, brand experiences, hospitality and celebrations. We create work that feels intentional, elevated, and immersive, designed to enhance the atmosphere of a space. Our signature SoCal Southern sensibility blends modern design with a warm, hospitality-driven approach. Every project is executed with care, precision, and respect for the production process, resulting in floral experiences that feel both visually compelling and seamlessly integrated.

Elizabeth Grace Florals was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. We chose to use florals only for our personals and did not have any venue floral installations, and she helped ensure those pieces alone made a beautiful and meaningful statement. She was incredibly accommodating of my budget and always willing to adjust details to make everything work without compromising the vision. She created thoughtful inspiration slides and color palettes early on, which really helped me visualize how everything would come together. One of the most important details to me was having no greenery in the bouquets. I had a very specific vision for my bridal bouquet—an all-white arrangement featuring calla lilies and lilies of the valley. Since lilies of the valley only bloom in May, I honestly thought it would be impossible for our wedding date and tried not to get my hopes up. Elizabeth somehow made it happen, and I was completely blown away when I saw the bouquet. It was even more stunning than I imagined. In addition to the bridal party flowers, she also created beautiful bouquets for our mothers and a classic white bouquet for Mary’s altar at the church, which was such a special touch for the ceremony. The groom wore a simple, elegant white calla lily boutonnière, while the groomsmen had beautiful red boutonnières that perfectly complemented the bridesmaids’ burgundy bouquets. Every detail felt cohesive and intentional. Elizabeth was organized, communicative, and truly easy to work with throughout the entire process. She even delivered the flowers to where the groomsmen were getting ready and had everything prepared at the church in advance for the bride and bridesmaids’ arrival, which made the day feel seamless and stress-free. She came highly recommended by our venue, and now I completely understand why. I am so grateful we had the opportunity to work with her. Thank you, Elizabeth Grace, for bringing our vision to life so beautifully!
