“We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session in the future. We didn’t even need one though, because he is skilled enough that he understood us as a couple immediately. They made us feel comfortable and confident. They hyped us up and moved through the shot list masterfully. Nothing was missed and we captured far more than we expected. Please look through our attached photos as they speak for themselves. One of the most exciting moments was when Lulan handed us a little blue book filled with about fifteen physically printed preview photos DURING THE RECEPTION. A lovely surprise that absolutely shocked me. Turnover was 4-6 weeks and we got ours just before the six week mark right on schedule. We were floored. They are jaw-dropping. We ultimately got 950 photos permanently digitally available for high resolution download and access to a shop with impressive options for prints and albums of a wide array of types and sizes. I’m thrilled to show them to you here and implore you to consider booking Lulan Studios. We trusted in their ability from the beginning and we were not disappointed. They are among if not the absolute best in the business.”

“There were a lot of unknowns about our wedding. But one decision was easy; choosing Tucker and Alyssa to be our photographers. We have followed Tucker Horton Media on Instagram for a while before we got engaged and when we decided on a venue in southern California, we knew we had to reach out to our favorite Instagram photographers. Their replies were quick, professional and their quotes were more than fair. We were particularly pleased to learn that engagement photos were included in the quote and took full advantage of that perk as well! Engagement photos: One thing we loved about working with Tucker and Alyssa was how much space they gave us during our engagement shoot. With all the wedding planning in our heads, they could tell we needed a moment to relax before we could really get the pictures we wanted. Their patience and relaxed presence let us open up and capture some truly beautiful moments. Tucker can chase the light like no other and Alyssa fed us prompts when we were feeling awkward. The result was some really special moments both captured in photo, and felt by the both of us. And! The turn-around time for getting our photos back was way faster than we thought! Wedding Day: To be frank, our wedding day was more hectic than some. Personalities clashed, and some things fell apart. Through that, Wyld Story found pockets of peace to capture some really beautiful moments and showed incredible grace under pressure. The final pictures were beyond what we could have expected! One of which we actually turned into a 2000 piece puzzle and is currently hanging in our living room! When we went through the fullness of our wedding photos a couple weeks later, more than once we found ourselves saying, “Wait, that’s us???” just because some of the pictures were so spectacular. One of the best parts of the Wyld Story package was being able to get a handful of sneak peak photos to pass around at dinner to all of our guests. That extra step was a way for us to keep the celebration going right after the ceremony and was an amazing surprise! We were also amazed at the number of photos we got of our guests that were taken while we were off doing other things. During our wedding day, we found ourselves pulled in so many directions as we interacted with all of our guests. After the wedding day, we got to relive different parts of our reception that we had initially missed and smile in the moments that our guests got to enjoy.”

“I don't know how else to say this, but my husband and I are THE most awkward people when it comes to photos. We forget how to smile, we never know where to look, and we don't know what to do with our hands... or faces. We had a different photographer for our engagement photos and I didn't like the way 99% of them came out. We looked uncomfortable and awkward. I emailed Cassy about how uncomfortable we are in front of a camera and she called me to reassure me that she would be able to give us direction and make sure all the photos turned out great. We had a tiny micro wedding on the beach during covid with just our immediate family. I hired a picnic company to set up a tiny ceremony and hors d'oeuvres. Cassy captured all the details of the set up beautifully. My in-laws wanted a coffee table book of our wedding photos, and it was so hard to pick just a few. We got so many incredible photos! Our couples shots look like something in a magazine. She made it so fun, we never felt weird or uncomfortable. Cassy had these little tips and tricks and she'd get genuine laughter and smiles out of us. There were no forced smiles or awkward faces. When I look at my photos, it brings back all the memories of laughter and joy on our special day. I'm so grateful we found her! All our photos are light, airy, and perfect. “I wish I’d spoke up on being self conscious about my butt, and I didn’t so I have some pictures I probably won’t be sharing, but the pictures we have are pretty, she got everything I wanted during our ceremony, I just wish I had gotten some pictures with my bridesmaids and me in my wedding dress. The ball got dropped on that. Other than that I’m happy with my ceremony pictures, and some of the pictures where I’m facing away from the camera I’m not a huge fan of. My husband loves them though, so that’s good. There was some miscommunication on editing and what not, but over all we got some really good photos.”
