Choosing a photographer to capture one of the most intimate days of you and your partner’s lives is no small feat. I'm here to loudly love on ALL my couples. These are images you’ll hold onto forever and pass down for generations to come, so trust is essential. With two decades of travel experience, I’m not only comfortable navigating the intricacies of international travel but also thrive on the excitement of exploring new destinations. Whether you choose to elope with only the mountains as your witness, or have the big white wedding of your dreams, I can’t wait to celebrate your love.

Julia is the best! She has a great eye for photos. She knows how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. She took our photos for our court house wedding and we hired her to do our reception photos next year because we liked them so much. If you’re looking for someone who can capture your special moments she is a great option. Her pricing is very reasonable. Also she is just easy and fun to work with! She really went above and beyond. We’re Hunter and Lindsey Wickert— a husband-and-wife photography team based in Vancouver, Washington, serving couples across the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is simple: create photographs that feel like your memories. From the shoreline near Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach to snowy trails at the base of Mount St. Helens, forest aisles, and golden fall family sessions, we chase real moments, movement, and connection. We want you to look back and feel it all again— the nerves, the joy, the laughter, and the quiet in-between. Artful, natural, and deeply personal— your story, exactly as it unfolded.

Awarded Best of Zola
Lindsey and Hunter captured all of the moments of our elopement with so much care and attention to detail! We had a special request to include our cat (in his tuxedo of course) and although he didn't want to cooperate, they managed to take the most perfect family portraits we could have asked for. The candid photos leading up to and after our ceremony are so special to us now. It allowed us to see the little stolen looks between each other that we may have missed throughout the day. Our preview pictures were ready right away, and the entire gallery was prepared not long after. There are so many incredible pictures that we want to frame and show off to everyone! They exceeded all of our expectations and I highly recommend them!

I absolutely loved our photographer team! They were able to meet this candid vision we wanted AND get the traditional wedding photos! Ben was our lead photographer and I got to work with him for most of the day. He was there for the stress, the running around and the magic of the wedding itself. All my photos came out amazing to the point where I got Ai accusations from how good they were! I couldn’t be more happy with the final outcome!

Photography By Cambrae
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,795

I am a Portland native through and through! My love for photography rivals only my love of traveling. My interest in photography began at a young age, thanks to my Uncle and 8th grade math teacher. After over 18 years of experience, I have mastered the art of putting my clients at ease and creating an environment for them to be present and most importantly be themselves. I have a deep passion for not only the images I create but for the people I work with. I truly consider it an honor to be a part of someone’s wedding day and the images we create together become reflective memories for the couple, not just snapshots in time.

Awarded Best of Zola
We made the best choice picking Cambrae to be our photographer for our wedding! Months later, we still get so many complements on our photos on how great a job she did and how fun and charismatic she was around the venue on our wedding day. She put everyone at ease and captured amazing shots of our day. Her professionalism, organizational skills, and eye for detail is amazing. Put together with her infectious spirit and an obvious love of what she does, you can’t go wrong.

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!

Awarded Best of Zola
I could write a book about Leah; or at least a very detailed blog post but I'll try to keep it shorter! As a fellow professional photographer, I got the opportunity to meet Leah and work with her as her 2nd photographer on a wedding. It took that one amazing experience and absolute blast of a time to know that whenever it was I got married she was THE photographer for me. Fast forward some years later it was finally my turn to tie the knot and my now husband and I chose our date based on when Leah was available, because there was no other option for me! I have gotten to work with dozens of photographers throughout my going on 10 year career, and I'm telling y'all, it doesn't get better than Leah. The photos - amazing! I love her eye for details, the crispness, the colors! Not to mention she is such a beautiful soul with the best personality and energy, with the professionalism to get a gallery worth of beautiful photos with you barely realizing she's there. While going through our gallery, I was stunned and overjoyed so many times to see things I had NO idea happened or even photos of people that I unfortunately didn't get to spend much time with yet seeing that they still enjoyed themselves. In my opinion, a photographer is the most important vendor you can choose for your wedding day. I am so thankful my experience in the wedding industry allowed me to cross paths with Leah because that made a really important decision very easy for me. And I hope my review can help other soonlyweds out there make a hard decision easier. You will not go wrong choosing Leah to photograph your big day!

Venture Ever After
Rating: 5.0 (20 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

My name is Nadia. I specialize in elopements + adventure weddings in the Pacific Northwest. I help people have the wedding of their dreams in magical outdoor spaces. When you choose to elope, you’re choosing to get married free of society’s wedding day expectations. So go wild! Spend the entire day in your favorite place, with your favorite person. Wear a fancy outfit, or wear your hiking boots. Invite your dog instead of your mom’s second cousin. Share your first kiss under the stars instead of under an altar. In the great outdoors, you write the wedding rules. And I’m here to help make it an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
When we began looking for a photographer for our micro-wedding, we gravitated towards Nadia’s images over and over again. Not only did they capture raw, intimate moments between couples and families, but they elevated those moments in elegant and natural landscapes of the PNW; everything we wanted. We reached out and set up a consultation call immediately. We were initially nervous and felt very unprepared to speak with photographers because we had zero ideas for what our special day would look like, but after our call with Nadia we were confident that Venture Ever After was the right choice for us. She was so knowledgeable and did a TON of legwork planning our timeline to best capture the moments we wanted in the lighting we needed, recommending a variety of locations for some private moments as a couple and group activities with our family, and keeping us grounded and calm throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, Nadia took the reigns and gently guided us through the day with compassion and grace. She constantly reminded us that each moment was for us and encouraged us to revel in all of the details. She even conquered some pretty crazy heights armed with multiple cameras and a walky-talky to capture some dramatic and beautiful couple’s portraits. Beyond being an incredible photographer, Nadia is one of the most genuine and kind people I’ve met. She has a knack for keeping elopement/wedding day energy light and helping her clients feel natural in front of the camera. My partner and I truly felt like models. I feel so blessed to have our wedding photographed by her and, above all, be able to call her a friend. I would recommend Nadia at Venture Ever After to everyone planning an elopement, wedding, or adventure in the PNW. In fact, I hope to be able to visit her and capture anniversaries and momentous occasions for our family long into the future.

Dionne Kraus Photography
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,700

I am a firm believer that friendship comes from learning the weird and quirky about a person, and still wanting to hang out with them after. And, since you will literally spend more time with your photographer than most anyone else on your wedding day, I want to be friends. We NEED to be friends. Like, I’ll-probably-end-up-holding-your-dress-up-while-you-pee type friends. That’s practically BFF status. I’m not only in the business of capturing your epically rad and emotional moments, I am also in the business of making lasting friendships, both of which I’m really awesome at.

My wife and I were very impressed by the work Dionne did for both our engagement and wedding photos. She made both experiences stress free and was able to do a superb job capturing the moments. As we just celebrated our first anniversary we were super grateful to have booked Dionne as we browsed through our photos and reminisced about that day!

Georgy Shishkin Photography
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,900

Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

Awarded Best of Zola
We eloped. Just the two of us, mountains around, wrapped in a checkered blanket with our hearts racing and headlights glowing behind us — and Georgy somehow turned all of that into pure poetry. These are, without exaggeration, the most beautiful photos we’ve ever had taken. Not just because of the location or the light (which were stunning), but because Georgy captured something deeper: how we felt. The joy, the quiet, the closeness, the nervous laughter… every photo feels like a little window back into that day. He made us feel completely comfortable, even in the middle of wild nature. It never felt staged or forced — just natural, gentle, and easy. Georgy gave us space to be ourselves and somehow still knew exactly when to click the shutter. We’re so grateful. These images are more than wedding photos — they’re memories we’ll carry forever. If you’re considering booking Georgy: do it. He has an incredible eye, a calming presence, and a gift for turning fleeting moments into timeless art. Thank you!!!

Kyle Carnes Photography
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,100

Hi, I’m Kyle. I’m Northwest born, Portland based, and like to think that I have pines trees sprouting from my skin and sun-soaked glacial runoff coursing through my veins. Aside from photographing weddings, I enjoy strenuous hikes with a view as much as indie flicks, comic books, carving powdery slopes, rock climbing, and Trail Blazers games. I like to share these details because I strongly believe that connecting with the couples I collaborate with is integral to the creative process of photographing a wedding. A strong connection will result in the best images possible.

Awarded Best of Zola
This review might be a bit long, so I want to say right up front that Kyle knocked it out of the park and I can’t recommend him enough. The photos are phenomenal. His composition during the ceremony was fantastic, he captured fleeting, emotional moments from our first dance, and he even drove us around the park in the rain between the ceremony and reception to get some truly beautiful shots with the fall foliage. My wife and I chose Kyle Carnes Photography after a very lengthy review of a large number of wedding photographers in the Pacific Northwest. Our wedding was in Portland at the end of October, with the ceremony in a church and the reception at the World Forestry Center in Washington Park. We knew the weather would be unpredictable and likely rainy, but we still wanted great photographs from both venues (and ideally some outdoor photos in the park if it wasn’t pouring.) With those criteria in mind, before meeting with any photographers, we pored over the online portfolios of around 20 different photographers, looking for people who consistently captured great images in a wide variety of lighting conditions. We also looked for variety in the types of weddings themselves—the settings, décor, attire, and overall style. Finally, we knew we wanted true-to-color photos, not sepia-toned or filtered images. That process narrowed our search down to four photographers that we then engaged with more deeply. Right from our first meeting with Kyle, we both felt comfortable. He was easy to work with, showed us additional photos that aligned perfectly with the venues and lighting concerns we discussed, and was open and clear about pricing. He also talked through timeline considerations we hadn’t even thought about, and communication was easy from that point all the way through the wedding. We knew we wanted “getting ready” photos of both the bride and groom, as well as strong candid coverage, so we asked about having a second photographer. Kyle was able to accommodate this and had his assistant, Roberto, join him. On the wedding day itself, Kyle somehow managed to capture everything without us really noticing he was there. For the posed family photos and the shots of just the two of us, he was incredibly easy to work with. We’re not camera-shy, but we’re also not used to being posed, and Kyle’s calm, soft-spoken demeanor made everything feel natural. From the church, to the park, to the reception and dancing, he captured every part of the day beautifully. After the wedding, he delivered the full gallery in less than a week. To be fair, this was faster than he promised, and I don’t want to set unrealistic expectations for future clients, but the turnaround was so impressively fast that it’s worth mentioning. I said this at the beginning, but it’s worth ending the same way: the photos are phenomenal. Everyone who has looked through them has been completely floored. Being able to relive each part of the day so vividly is the best result we could have hoped for from a wedding photographer.

Skylar Coonan Photography
Rating: 5.0 (12 reviews)
Portland, OR
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $4,000

Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

Awarded Best of Zola
I worked with Skylar and her husband in August 2019 in Mountain View, CA. They were both great to get along with and work alongside! Her photos are GORGEOUS and watching her interact with the Bride and Groom put everyone at ease. Working with Skylar Coonan Photography was one of the best vendor-team experiences I've had as a planner/coordinator and I hope to work with her again!

Hey, I’m Katie! I’m a wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon, and I love capturing real moments, happy tears, and all the beautiful chaos that makes your wedding day special. I focus on candid, heartfelt images with a timeless feel. Photos that bring you right back to the laughter, nerves, and that “we did it” moment. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a mom to two humans and three fur babies, married to my high school sweetheart for 19 years. You’ll usually find me with coffee in hand, rewatching Gilmore Girls, or scrolling TikTok a little longer than I should.

From start to finish Katie was amazing! When my wife and I started wedding planning we specifically looked for LGBTQ friendly vendors and Katie stood out. Her photography and editing is gorgeous and we knew we had to choose her! We took our engagement photos only a month before our wedding and Katie made sure we got our photos in time to be able to use them at our wedding. From planning to the actual day Katie made everything smooth, fun and easy. Our photos turned out amazing and we got sneak peaks less than a week after our wedding. I cannot thank her enough for capturing our special day so perfectly!! Highly recommend

I take a limited number of weddings each year, please reach out to confirm availability.

Maria was the perfect choice for our forest elopement photography. From the very beginning, Maria's communication was clear, friendly, and timely, putting us at ease as first-time photo subjects. Her artistic, professional, and sensual approach to capturing our special day was exactly what we were looking for. Maria was great at directing us - we were nervous and didn't know what to do with our hands or how to pose, but she helped make everything look and feel natural while having so much fun! Maria is a super talented photographer and also a great director. We worked with her for our elopement and also for our small wedding dinner a month later, and her photos now hang all around our house, reminding us of these special days. Hiring Maria was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Can't wait to work with her again!

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am the owner of Baileaves Photography. I am a travel and destination wedding photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the world to create timeless cinematic images of couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
My fiancé and I are getting married in May 2026 and are both pretty camera shy. We knew we wanted to get professional engagement and wedding photos done, but were nervous they would feel inauthentic. When we found Bailey’s page we were so excited about how she captured genuine joy from her couples in some of our favorite natural wonders in Oregon, which put us at ease going into our first conversation with her. Right out of the gate Bailey was incredible helping us feel comfortable with her, giving us resources to help guide our location outfit choices, and making us feel confident that we weren’t going to regret this decision. On the day of our engagement shoot, Bailey showed up at sunrise with us on the Oregon coast and ran around the beach for over 3 hours with us because the lighting kept shifting in such incredible ways through the clouds. Not only that, but she went above and beyond wrangling our dogs while we got some couple shots followed by some with the pups in some truly special family shots we will certainly be hanging up in the house. We had the best time with Bailey and the engagement photos she delivered were beyond anything we could have imagined. The way she captures the little smiles and moments between loved ones is unmatched, and her attention to lighting nuance and details of the natural area you’re in make her photos that much more special. We ended up using some of her photos for our invites and website, but are most excited to frame some for the house to remember forever. We can’t wait to have her as our wedding photographer and couldn’t recommend her enough for anyone looking!

The whole planning process was it easy as well as she was quick to communicate her availability and made great suggestions for photo spots with the vision I had in mind. When I tell you that I’ve never had this much fun in front of a camera, I mean it. I decided to do a photo shoot because I had been having a lot of body image issues and I wanted something to help me feel like myself. Destiny is professional, has an outstanding vision, is amazingly patient, and incredibly kind. Everything leading up to the shoot was so smooth. Destiny provided options and feedback that made it incredibly easy to pick locations and outfits for the shoot. She responded so fast and with incredible detail. I was so grateful as this was my first time ever doing anything like this. I was so nervous the day of and during the first few minutes of the shoot, but Destiny knew that and helped me work through it by taking a bit more control, but as I eased up, so did she. I felt like I could fully be myself and do what I wanted and liked. She never pushed me and I felt incredibly taken care of and comfortable after the nerves were gone. She hyped me up and made me smile! I was so happy! Destiny is incredibly thoughtful and is willing to do what is best to work with you to get the best shots possible. If you’re looking for someone who will take you through the process step by step and who will help you make decision, then I recommend Destiny without hesitation. The photos look amazing and she is very clear about time lines for when you will get your pictures back. Everything was incredibly easy to navigate and I am so grateful to have worked with Destiny. Thank you for making me see myself with more love and kindness.

Hello! I'm Kendra, the face behind Kendi Photos. My style of wedding photography is a mix of candid and formal shots, ensuring a diverse array of photos in your gallery. My favorite part of wedding photography is being there for all the behind the scenes action that the guests don't get to see, especially intimate first look moments. I edit on the side of bright and true to color, enhancing photos without changing the entire vibe. I serve the Pacific Northwest and am based out of the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR areas.

I cannot say enough nice things about working with Lauryn and Bob. Not only do they bring the most genuine and lovely attitude and vibes but they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were so professional and knew exactly what to do and say to get all the family members together and they have such good vision when it comes to posing and backgrounds. And the pictures that came out in the end?*swoon* they are some of the most gorgeous shots! The colors, the lighting, the composition, all of it was so on point and so amazing. And we got our photos back so quickly! I cannot recommend Lauryn enough. Pro tip: The wedding and engagement photo combo was the way to do it- not only do you get amazing photos of you and your fiancé before the wedding but getting to know Lauryn and Bob prior to the big day was so nice and made us way more comfortable and we knew what to expect/ what it felt like to be in front of the camera.

Christina took our engagement photos and they are truly some of my favorite pictures of the two of us. Neither of us had participated in a photo shoot since our senior pictures so we were a little anxious going into it, but Christina’s calm presence, sense of humor, and great direction helped ease of nerves immediately. I love that she really was able to capture our playful dynamic in our pictures and nothing felt too stiff or posed. We will definitely be using her again for future family shoots and recommending her to everyone we know! Thank you again Christina!!

Pixel & Film were lovely. From our very first interaction, they were kind and professional, putting us at ease throughout the entire process- which was nice so we didn’t have to try and think of every little detail. We loved the natural, authentic tones in their work, which felt true to our style. On the day of, we got a bit behind schedule, but they stayed late to capture all the special moments that meant so much to us. Their dedication and passion for their craft truly shone through, and we are thrilled with the beautiful photos that now allow us to relive our wedding day. We highly recommend christy and rob to any couple looking for talented, personable photographers who will go the extra mile to make your day perfect.
