I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!
High quality, artistic photography with a very chill vibe. I worked in mental health before I transitioned to photography full-time over ten years ago and couples frequently tell me they appreciated my calm demeanor on their wedding day. However, I was also a goalkeeper on my college soccer team so I know how to step up and direct in moments when it's needed! My work has been featured in Vogue, ELLE, Oregon Bride, BRIDES, California Wedding Day, Neil Lane, and National Geographic! Effortless communication and stunning results

An Unforgettable Experience with Leah!
We cannot recommend Leah enough! From start to finish, she captured every moment of our perfect wedding day and even the day after exploring in the breathtaking Yellowstone national park. As a couple who had never had professional photos taken, we were nervous at first, but Leah immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. Her talent, professionalism, and genuine warmth shone through in every shot. The photos perfectly reflect the joy, love, and magic of our wedding, and we will treasure them forever. Leah truly went above and beyond, and working with her was an absolute dream!
Still in love with the photos!
Leah photographed our small wedding in South Bend, WA and the photos are magical. I’m still in love with them months later! She completely understood the fairytale/romantic vibe we were looking for, and also delivered wonderful candids from the reception. Also, her prices were super reasonable and she was easy to communicate/work with. I’ve shared just a couple of my favorites from the portraits, but I swear I have a new favorite every time I look at the album. Highly recommend!!

Working with Leah was such a wonderful experience! She manages to walk that line between laid back and completely professional so well that I was instantly comfortable working with her. She immediately understood our vision and delivered beautifully. She was communicative and on the ball with dates/times/contracts & very responsive to any questions. Day of she did a great job directing my husband and I, helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera even though that is very much not our comfort zone. The photos are gorgeous and I can’t get over how well they turned out. Thank you Leah!!
