“Irene was one of the kindest and hardest working person I worked with while planning my June 2023 wedding. A big ask I had for my wedding planner was I needed someone who would tell me if something didn't look good or what details I was missing. Irene always managed to guide me through every decision and respectfully brought up her opinions or concerns when she had them, I really appreciated that she was committed to the design and my vision without letting me do something that would end up wasting money or not working. Everytime we spoke I genuinely felt like I was the only wedding she was working on and it really felt like she was my friend and not a vendor I was paying. On the topic of payment: she could have charged me double and I still would have paid it and felt like her services came at an absolute steal. Money was one of my biggest concerns (as it is most couples) and I had heard horror stories of wedding planners pressuring couples blow well past their budget or having an attitude about a couples spending choices. Irene was an absolute gem on this front. She always stuck to what my budget was, but would show me some upsells occasionally; always emphasizing the fact that they would be fun to add - but not required. If I had an idea that would cost extra she would set expectations and help me rearrange the spending if I felt strongly. Seriously. She's an angel and her assistant day of was incredible to work with as well. She's an amazing professional who made my day absolutely perfect. Book Irene. You won't regret it!”

“I can’t count the number of times during and after our wedding I said, “hiring Christina is the best money we spent on the wedding!” I am not a planner by nature and I was dreading wedding planning. The second we hired Christina, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted. She took care of all the tiny details, gave me ideas I never would have thought of, and brought our vision to life. She was so supportive throughout the whole process, answering texts and emails about absolutely everything. On the actual wedding day, I often thought that I didn’t know what we would have done without her. While our venue had a coordinator, they were not nearly as responsive and organized as Christina was. “For almost the entirety of the planning process, we put off working with a wedding planner. About 3 weeks before our wedding day, we realized we couldn’t put it off any longer – that’s where One 15 Events came in. From our first conversation with Erica and Katie, we knew we made the right decision and were in the right hands. Katie immediately injected a sense of calm into the weeks leading up to our big day. She was thoughtful, thorough, precise, and decisive. On our wedding day, Katie was our right hand. She was our eyes and ears, running around to ensure every detail was executed as we planned. When there was a small table snafu at the eleventh hour, it was Katie who sprang into action to resolve. When it was time for our brief ceremony rehearsal, it was Katie who took charge and led the way. When we realized our bridesmaids hadn’t been given their bouquets for formal pictures, it took no more than a minute for Katie to locate and hand them out. “Working with Mia made our wedding day impossibly easy and free of stress. She is incredible in every way! The service she provided to us was invaluable throughout the whole wedding planning process. Our wedding was at a relatively full service venue, so I initially wasn't sure whether working with Mia was necessary. However, I can confidently say that reaching out to her was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process! I am generally very Type A, so I was less concerned about everything going smoothly on the wedding day and more worried about being able to truly enjoy the day and live in the moment. I stumbled upon Mia's podcast and, after listening to only a handful of episodes, immediately knew I needed to contact her. In the month or so leading up to our wedding day, I felt uncharacteristically at ease, and I am certain that I owe this sense of calm to Mia. Being able to brain dump little details, concerns, etc. to Mia was incredibly helpful. It made me feel like somebody else cared as deeply about everything going right as I did. One particular puzzle involving our transportation was driving me crazy, and I spent several days poring over some possible solutions. I finally decided to send an email to Mia outlining the problem, and within a half hour, she sent back a brilliant, detailed solution that ended up working perfectly. Although I was already impressed by Mia before the wedding day, I couldn't believe just how valuable her services were on the actual day. There were so many points where Mia swooped in to help before I even knew help was needed. She acted as my “eyes and ears” that afternoon as other vendors set everything up at the venue. She was right on top of contacting the trolley company when they were a few minutes late for picking up the wedding party (I actually didn't even know they were running late until later that day, as it was all handled before I even had a chance to stress about it). She was right there with safety pins when a clasp on my dress was faulty. And she even held an umbrella over me to block the sun during photos (not sure where she even got it – she was like Mary Poppins, with the perfect supplies appearing in thin air!) It was almost as if she was in multiple places at the same time. Our wedding party was also grateful to have her phone number throughout the day for anything that came up. At the end of the event, Mia loaded all of the decor into our car and even took many of our leftover florals to a nearby nursing home the next day so they wouldn’t go to waste. I genuinely don't know who would have taken care of things like this if Mia wasn't there. Even now that our wedding day was a few weeks ago, I continue to hear stories of Mia that I didn't even know about. For example, at one point, my mom was trying to help some older relatives call a cab back to their hotel before the end of the night. All of a sudden, Mia appeared by her side and took care of it. I am so grateful to her for handling things like this so my mom could fully enjoy such an important day for our family. If you are unsure about whether you need a day-of coordinator, you will not regret working with Mia! Just knowing Mia was there made my stress level infinitely lower. I truly felt like I could soak up the joy of our wedding day without worrying about the little details and the flow of the day. Thank you, Mia, for playing such a big role in making our wedding day as special as it was!”
