“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

They were incredibly communicative over email and very organized in terms of planning for our wedding day. We had a lot of specific requests and they accommodated every single one flawlessly (for example, we asked for some piano instrumental versions of Lord of the Rings songs to play before the ceremony and gave very specific timing instructions for songs to walk down the aisle to). The band completely understood the vibe we were going for which was a fun and lively dance floor, and the dance floor was truly packed all night. They helped us have an amazing hora, kept timelines on track by announcing speeches and parent dances, and ended their set with a great performance of Don't Stop Believin. I highly recommend the Met Players for a band that's truly excited, fun, and talented! We hadn't seen them live before we booked, but based on reviews and word of mouth we felt comfortable booking anyway and from the first email we got from our event coordinator I knew we made the right choice. We literally lost count of the number of people who told us afterwards that Peter was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard! Guests of all ages loved the mix he created and he had an amazing intuition for which song should come next and how to perfectly blend them together! People were on the dance floor literally the whole night and it was a blast getting to dance with everyone for such a long time. Peter was punctual, communicative and friendly throughout the whole process. Before the event, Peter had several calls with us, just to make sure he totally understood the flow of the evening and was happy to make any announcements we requested throughout the night. We gave him two Spotify playlists in advance, and he played many of the songs we suggested while adding several other songs we hadn't thought of ourselves but fit our vibe perfectly. It's also clear he LOVES his job and his energy and enthusiasm was infectious as he danced along in the DJ booth. We really hope he will be DJ-ing at other weddings we attend, because he certainly knows how to set a phenomenal vibe and throw an unforgettable party!!!!”

“We had Lucas DJ our wedding in Holbox recently. It was originally scheduled for March of 2020, but we had to cancel and move to Jan 2022. He was a true professional and so wonderful! He made himself available for our new date and didn’t even change his rate (even though he very well could have and all our other vendors did). At the wedding, he was incredible and created the most amazing vibe on the dance floor! The most common comment of the night from everyone, including myself: “I have had to pee for hours but don’t want to leave and miss a song!” He also made the most beautiful remixes of Persian dance numbers and other bangers (I am Iranian and my husband is Irish Catholic). Every single guest was on the dance floor for every single minute. On a personal note, he is also just an awesome and nice person. The best money spent for our entire wedding. I can’t recommend him enough and hope to hire him for every party we ever have!”

From the very beginning, Chris and the entire 4AM team (Janice included!) were incredible to work with — thoughtful, organized, and an absolute pleasure throughout the entire process. Music was a huge priority for us; we wanted a nonstop dance floor and something that felt modern, high-energy, and a bit different from a traditional wedding band. Chris and team absolutely nailed it — they exceeded every expectation. We didn’t leave the dance floor once (and neither did most of our guests!). “Ana & Jimmy were in a different league from the moment we met them. On our first Zoom, they listened to everything I said about our taste and our vibe… and then gently told me that our beloved saxophonist idea didn’t match anything we had described. They recommended a guitarist instead— and thank goodness, because they were absolutely right. Their planning process was incredibly thoughtful.. and for me, hilarious. Their music surgery? Thorough and genius, and apparently visible to them before you hit submit. Which meant they saw me type things like “Haed pass,” “No thank you,” and “What even is that??” Live. Thankfully, they have incredible senses of humor. They checked in multiple times, did a full site visit, and showed up with a sound team who stayed all night to make sure everything was flawless. They even coordinated our private outdoor first dance with our violinist while sending the music inside to guests — seamlessly. But the reception is where they catapulted into untouchable territory. They don’t just sing and DJ… they perform. Including: * the full, committed N’SYNC “Bye Bye Bye” choreography * A Blink - 182 elder millennial scream-along that transported us back to 2003 * Coming onto the dance floor to hype everyone * Interacting with guests like they’ve known us forever. I don’t dance— and I was on that dance floor all night. Our guests are still texting us about how unreal the band was and we’ve heard “best wedding I’ve ever been to” on multiple occasions.
