Before my trial they gave me opportunity to share inspo pics they could see exactly what I wanted. I sent the pictures and when I went to the trial both Liseth and Andy listened and did a great job. I did make a few changes however, I did love my look and the changes were very minor. On the day of the wedding both Liseth and Andy were on time and they did an awesome job on everyone’s hair and makeup. “I hired Ashley for hair and Cheryl for makeup for myself and 4 members of my wedding party. They were amazing, and exactly what I wanted! We did a trial session a few months before the wedding and it went really well. I wanted to do a colorful makeup look for my Indian wedding and Cheryl was totally on board with bold green eyeshadow! Ashley was also super helpful with all the headwear necessary for the event, giving us advice for how to prep my dupatta (veil) to keep it in place and that sort of thing. On the wedding day itself, they did a great job quickly sussing out the different styles and tastes of the wedding party. They also had something in common with everyone and were chatting and joking with us all morning! They finished up right on schedule, and were able to do touch ups before the ceremony started. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted beautifully through 12 hours of dancing, sweating, rain, and happy tears! I'd absolutely book them again, they were a joy to work with!”

“Kelsea and Alena made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Kelsea chatted with me via Zoom to get an idea of what the day was going to be like and the look I was going for. I did a trial at Kelsea's studio in Virginia and I got to hang out with her adorable pup while she brought my vision to life and asked me lots of helpful questions. She then took feedback from the trial so that Alena, who was my artist on my wedding day, could execute a perfected version of the trial look. My hair isn't the easiest to work with because it's very straight and fine, but Alena got it to hold its waves all night without it feeling gross and weighed down by product. She also accentuated the purple highlights I got done shortly before the wedding to match my flowers flawlessly so that the purple showed through without being overpowering. She checked in every step of the way while doing my makeup and made sure I was good with the shades that she picked. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup so I was worried about not feeling like myself, but Kelsea and Alena achieved the perfect balance between looking glamorous, but still natural. I didn't have a bridal party, but Alena did my mom's hair and makeup as well and she looked beautiful. Cannot recommend Artistry by Kelsea enough!”
