Review for Blenheim Hill Farm Blenheim Hill Farm was the wedding venue of our dreams. From our very first meeting, the owners, Min and Morten, went above and beyond to make us feel supported and cared for. They were personally involved every step of the way — from answering our endless planning questions, to leading us through the tasting, to being hands-on during our big day. The venue itself is picture perfect: set on over 100 acres of peaceful countryside, it offers both privacy and freedom — we loved that we could have a live band, late-night dancing, and even a custom firework show without worrying about noise ordinances. The charm of the working farm added such a special touch, from guests petting goats upon arrival to enjoying eggs fresh from the coop at our Sunday brunch. The food was absolutely incredible — so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. And when light rain threatened our outdoor ceremony, Min and Morten worked tirelessly to hold off the rain plan until the last possible moment; the skies cleared just in time, and their team quickly ensured every seat was dry and perfect. One small note for future couples: plan your guest transportation carefully. We had guests staying in Windham, which added a bit of stress with bus logistics — in hindsight, we’d recommend nearby Airbnbs or closer towns. Still, everything about our experience at Blenheim Hill Farm was magical, and we’re endlessly grateful to Min, Morten, and their team for helping us create a day we’ll cherish forever.

Helen at Brookledge was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding!! From our very first interaction, the whole team was communicative, helpful, and really kind. The venue itself has a completely magical vibe, and was the perfect space for our forest wedding in the trees. I had originally hoped to get married in the redwoods in CA, but the The Camp Chapel (one option for a ceremony space) was the absolute next best thing. Helen went above and beyond throughout the weekend (even printed my updated vows last minute!!) to ensure everything ran smoothly, and everyone's attention to detail made our wedding day feel more magical than we could have ever dreamed of!! We are so grateful to Helen and the whole Brookledge team -- if you love glamping and want to get married in the trees -- THIS IS THE VENUE FOR YOU!! 1000/10 recommend! (Just because there isn't another public place to leave this, if you go with Brookledge, as you 10000% should!! don't choose Jake Allen as your DJ - just use another recommended vendor for music! )

The Inn at Erlowest was the perfect venue for our special day. From signing to the day of, the staff was efficient, organized, and friendly in their communication - especially the onsite wedding coordinator. LeAnna and her team were so knowledgeable and good at their jobs that I never stressed about the event. All good vibes! They helped coordinate all of our details; from the night before BBQ, to table linens to photographs of two large families, keeping everything running smoothly and on time. The venue itself is breathtaking. Guests are still telling us that they’re never seen a more beautiful ceremony location, and the reception space is a perfect mix of elegant and down to earth that we were aiming for. I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.

Forest Lake Camp was an incredible venue for our wedding weekend. The team was very responsive and got back to us quickly with every question we had. The views were absolutely stunning, and we were thrilled to have the entire camp space for the whole weekend. Matt and Dwight were beyond helpful with set up during the BBQ, ceremony, and reception, and the entire staff was extremely helpful with the set up and take down. It was amazing to hear about all the adventures our guests took over the weekend and how much fun they had exploring the camp. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with for our special day.

If we could give Brant Lake Camp a million stars, we would. Our wedding weekend here was nothing short of extraordinary, and it’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for the experience. From the moment we first connected with Alexa, we knew we were in the best possible hands. She’s not just a coordinator—she’s a rare kind of person who blends warmth, precision, and pure joy into everything she touches. Every meeting, she showed up with clarity, answers, and a plan. Every promise she made, she fulfilled with grace. And during the weekend itself, she carried us so effortlessly through each moment that we were able to be fully present with our loved ones. Alexa’s smile and spirit are unforgettable, and she truly became the heartbeat of our wedding. But it wasn’t just Alexa—it was everyone. The staff at Brant Lake Camp became like family to us. Their kindness was endless, their energy boundless. They didn’t just work—they laughed with us, played with us, cheered with us. Who else says “yes” without hesitation when asked to referee water-gun capture the flag, lead a hike at sunrise, or host a massive kickball game? These aren’t just employees—they are people with generous hearts and playful spirits, and they infused our weekend with magic. The food was outstanding (we are still raving about the gyro lunch!), and the camp itself was a dream; expansive, stunningly maintained, and alive with possibilities. Guests found themselves running from archery to the beach to the ninja course, their inner kids reawakened. For those who needed help navigating the hills, staff were there in seconds with carts and smiles. No one ever felt like a burden, only like a treasured guest. And then—the wedding itself. We didn’t lift a finger. The team handled every detail, from setup to vendors to even keeping the surprise ice cream truck hidden until just the right moment. They threw an unforgettable after-party, complete with Pedro DJing his heart out - an unexpected surprise! Our weekend was full of picture-perfect moments: a welcome party under the lights by the water, a cozy campfire, cabins stocked with thoughtful touches like extra blankets, welcome bags delivered with care, etc. On our last night (we had an extended weekend), they somehow helped orchestrate a talent show, Family Feud, broadcast a college football game in one clubhouse, host movies for both kids and adults in others, and s’mores under the stars—because they knew how to give our guests every ounce of joy possible before it ended. And here’s the truth: our family and friends didn’t just “enjoy” the wedding. They were moved by it. They told us it was unlike anything they’d ever experienced, that it was unforgettable, that it felt like us. And that’s the gift Brant Lake Camp gave us—not just a wedding, but a weekend where our community could gather, play, laugh, and love with us in a way that one night never could. We left Brant Lake Camp with hearts so full they might burst. We left with memories that bring tears to our eyes even now. And we left with friends already interested in coming back for the family or adult weekends. If you’re considering Brant Lake Camp, don’t hesitate. It will change the way you think about what a wedding can be. It will give you more than a celebration—it will give you a once-in-a-lifetime gathering of love, joy, and connection. And it will stay with you forever.
