Our Farm sits on 54-Acres in Bucks County. Our Seed Barn was originally built back in the 1820's. Our Seed Barn was restored in the Summer of 2016 & seats 160-200 people. Attached to the back of the Seed Barn is a beautiful deck that overlooks the ceremony site. In the lower level of the Seed Barn is our Groom’s Suite! Here you will find a pool table, TV, lounge seating area & more. In 2020 we built our Harvest Barn attached to the Seed Barn through a breezeway. Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is a 134-acre nature preserve, botanical garden, and accredited museum. Today, the preserve contains over 700 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, ponds and Pidcock Creek, with about 4.5 miles of walking trails. It is an excellent site for bird-watching. The preserve was established in 1934 within the Washington Crossing Historic Park at the site where George Washington‘s army camped during the American Revolutionary War. Just five miles south of the preserve, Washington and his men crossed the Delaware River to fight and win the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

You and your guests are welcome to roam the gardens and take pictures in the alee of trees, boxwoods, rose garden, walled garden, and private medallion garden. A pond, small waterfall, and landscaped entrance in front of the home is the ideal setting for your on-site ceremony. Appleford works with 6 exclusive caterers and is BYOB. Clients are welcome to select a florist, photographer, videographer, and other vendors.
