I’m Wic Woodford and I’m a former classical music radio host (WITF, Harrisburg), and, well, I’ve been shooting weddings since 35mm film days. Always at the back of my mind when I’m photographing event is “…and then what happened?” It’s that little sentence that drives me to capture your wedding day in a way that’s real. Friends and family should be able to look at your pictures and instantly see the emotions, surprises, and joy of the day.

I believe wedding days aren’t meant to be perfect — they’re meant to be real. One of my favorite images was from a backyard ceremony in the pouring rain. The chairs were soaked. The hair frizzed. And the couple? They walked back down the aisle laughing, completely wrapped up in each other. That’s what I care about — the real moments, deep breaths, and joy that shows up even when plans shift. My job isn’t to stage your day, but to protect it — documenting it honestly so you can relive how it felt, not just how it looked.

I’ve strongly considered taking payment in the form of chocolate chip cookies. I may or may not have an addiction. In my spare time, you’ll probably find me drinking some delicious craft beer, stuffing my face with local food, and spending time with my friends and family. I love dogs but became a cat person when I adopted an adorable gray tabby cat named Chloe seven years ago. We recently adopted a second cat named Shrimp who we also love dearly. I’m an adrenaline junkie. I’ve been skydiving, ziplining, whitewater rafting, and much more. I live for the thrill!
