For the past 18 years Katharine has turned her farm, Fox Hill Farm in Honesdale PA, into a flower farm and event venue; using it as a base for her floral business. Fox Hill Farm has supplied wedding and event florals throughout northeast PA and beyond. Katharine endeavors to use as much local, PA grown and American grown flowers as possible. Katharine’s undergraduate education, travels, research, workshops, and hands-on learning have fueled her continued passion for providing the best products possible. My passion for flowers and plants started when I was a child. Growing up in the middle of nowhere was the best thing to allow my imagination to flourish. The school day would end and I would be rushing off the bus to help my grandparents plant seedlings or pick the harvest from the garden. My parents had flower beds and brought the beautiful flowers inside to enjoy as well. I am passionate about being able to replicate flower gardens into a gorgeous design but also creating a unique design just for your day!

I have over 30 years of experience as an event florist/designer. Working in the industry with premiere venues in the Pocono, Lehigh Valley, and NW New Jersey areas. For several years I was an event florist at a high end venue. In addition I worked with a Floral & Interior design team for several years, before venturing out on my own. I have put together a team of dedicated & talented designers who have the same passion of style, quality. With a combined effort my team and I will create the vision my clientele is looking for and bring it to life, with elegance and charm for whatever life event that is being planned.

I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

Every arrangement we make is custom designed for each couple, guided by their personality and the story they want to tell. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

My love of Floriculture and Horticulture began when I was young thanks to parents that loved to garden and create breathtaking displays of flowers. That love continued through school and became my passion in college. After gaining a BS from Michigan State University in Horticulture/Floriculture and Landscape Design, I began my career. In 1995, I began Mark Bryan Designs with a eye towards creating unique floral designs for events and weddings.
