He photographed both our engagement near Beacon, NY and our wedding in Glen Ridge, NY at the Glen Ridge Women's Club, and the results were incredible across the board. For our engagement shoot, which was mostly outdoors, Ihor recommended the best time of day so the lighting would be perfect, and it really shows in the photos. We moved around to several locations on the property, and even though the shoot was only about an hour, we ended up with tons of great shots. He was easy to work with and gave helpful direction that made us feel and look comfortable on camera. On our wedding day, Ihor arrived on time, stayed engaged the whole evening, and captured so many meaningful moments. Our venue was fairly dimly lit, but everything came out sharp, colorful, and beautiful. He did a great job capturing both the big moments and the candid ones in between, along with the emotion throughout the day. He also delivered way more photos than we expected, including a preview just a couple days after the wedding. Beyond the photos, Ihor is a genuinely great guy and a pleasure to have around. We are Jenn and Ro, a husband and wife team based out of Central Jersey. An AOL chatroom brought us together in 2003 when we were high school seniors and we got married a few years later. Shortly after our wedding, we fell in love with photography and all things wedding. As a boutique studio, we love to create a relationship with our couples that lasts throughout the entire wedding process and beyond. “I can’t say enough about how incredible our experience was with Eric as our wedding photographer. Located at the Jersey Shore, where most photographers focus on sunny beach weddings, I was looking for something different. Our wedding took place in the fall, full of rich earth tones and a fun, edgy vibe that centered not just on romance, but on the presence of our children. It was important to us that the day felt authentic, emotional, and full of movement. And, just to make it more fun, ours was a Halloween wedding. We had a formal ceremony followed by a costume reception, and Eric embraced every bit of it. He didn’t just roll with our unique requests—he elevated them. He found the perfect location: a hidden gem that was edgy, raw, and exactly what I didn’t even know I was hoping for. The backdrop had this cinematic, timeless feel that makes you wonder “where in the world could they be,” which paired beautifully with our nontraditional theme. Photographing four young kids is no easy task, especially on such a big day. But Eric’s speed, patience, and instincts were unbelievable. He captured fleeting moments—tiny glances, quick smiles, the chaos and joy of our family—without ever losing sight of the romance and connection between me and my husband. Every image tells a story.
