After attending college in Boston for photography, I found myself shooting weddings for friends and have built my casual endeavor into a beautiful, fun business. Since then, I have expanded into Super 8 and film photography focusing on commercial and lifestyle family sessions.

Natural, documentary, photojournalistic. Real, raw, candid. We’re not going for any stiff prom poses here. I like to capture the day as it is and to document it as it unfolds. I never want to force anything, but I step in and direct where needed. Being in front of the camera isn’t my favorite thing either. Our first kiss was on the beach, under a star-filled sky, on my favorite island, only home to shells, bioluminescent creatures, and wild horses. Soon after, as two very young humans (21 and 23), we were married. As newlyweds we set off on an adventure, kayaking from Maine to Key West. On that trip, we realized how much we valued spending all our time together and being in charge of our schedule. This business is how we live out that dream.

Film shapes my approach — intuitive and intentional — creating space for imperfection, inspiration and play. My work is grounded in documentation rather than direction. One of my favorite parts about this job is watching confidence grow right before the lens. When couples go from, “we’re going to be hard to photograph, we’re so awkward.” to “ no way! That’s us?” my heart could explode every time! Because what is on my camera is exactly what I see in you. It isn’t “you’re so talented!” or “that’s an amazing camera!” no, no. It’s simply you with the one you feel most comfortable with and who fills your heart and soul as no one or thing can. That my friend is genuine love in its most simplistic and powerful form. And it’s what I capture best. :)

After traveling between San Francisco & Maine for several years I'm finally home. Maine kept pulling at my heart with it's wild beauty, jagged coastline, glacial lakes and charm. I could never let go, so this past year I made the decision to return full-time to my beautiful little island community off the coast of Maine by ferry boat. You know how you can have a soul mate or soul pet? Maine is my soul place.
