I'd say my photography style would be something along the lines of "lifestyle photography". [That means that posing you in silly ways that seem fake / awkward isn't really my jam.] I mean, unless that gets some snuggles & laughs. I'm ALLLL about that. I like to capture REAL life with REAL emotions and REAL smiles. Your session should be relaxed and fun. [All while I get some kick-ass photos!] I will most likely make a giant fool of myself at your session, so you'll feel like a professional. I sing, trip, laugh, make noises, mention inappropriate things, show my nerdiness. AKA YOU'RE GOING TO DO JUST FINE.
I'm beyond blessed to be able to do what I love. Which wouldn't be possible without the unfailing support of my DASHING husband Jordan, & SUPER spunky daughter Marvel. There are many other things that tickle my fancy other than photography. [But let's be honest, photography has my heart] To name a few top faves though: pizza, laughter, wildflowers, the office, playful animals, bonfires, water, uncontrollable smiles, dancing, taco night [maybe I should just say food in general ;)] and people that laugh at my ridiculous humour.

Highly, Highly Recommend!
Hiring April and Jordan as our wedding photographers was one of the best decisions we made for our entire celebration. From the very beginning, April communicated with such care and consistency—checking in, asking thoughtful questions, and making sure every single wish we had was understood and honored. I always felt supported, heard, and genuinely excited after every conversation. When our wedding day arrived—the greatest day of my life—I truly believe their charisma, warmth, and attention to detail played a huge role in making it feel so magical. They brought the perfect balance of fun and structure, and our families still talk about how incredible they were to work with. It felt like having two close friends guiding us through the day, cheering us on, and capturing every moment with intention. And the photos… wow. Absolutely adored Alba Lumos Photography!
Highly recommend April and her husband (aka second shooter), Jordan, for your wedding/engagement/event of any sort! They both made us incredibly comfortable - even when we were a little camera shy. We're absolutely in love with our entire wedding album! They scoped out the venue when they arrived and had a clear plan to get the best shots. Their experience, combined with their relaxed nature and natural energy, made taking all of our pictures a breeze! April's commitment is also next-level, getting knee deep in the lake at our venue to facilitate one of the best shots of our wedding. Can't recommend Alba Lumos enough!!
