“We booked Spike Events for our October wedding and Spenser was absolutely amazing! We had several meetings beforehand and he was on top of every concern we had. We had a wedding at a private residence outside, so electrical needs were tricky. Spenser was thorough in what he needed supplied from us and we were able to get the right electrical needs for both his sound system and the two arcade tables we rented. He also was such a fun personality to have around and added so much to the party! We have so many great photos of everyone up and dancing due to his skill of keeping things fun! He did a great job following our timeline and was very helpful in adding to it as needed when we weren't sure how to schedule things such as first dance, cake cutting and parental dances. We had aunts and uncles that I've NEVER seen dance, out on the floor tearing it up!You would not regret hiring this company! They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. “We hired Tom for our 8/16/25 wedding in West Dover, VT. He came recommended by family and he didn't disappointment. Tom is easy to talk to, very professional, and knows how weddings work. His communication is clear, with most of the details being sorted out the week of the wedding (which makes perfect sense consider that's when we finally know the timeline). He did our intro and non-standard first dance song perfectly - as we requested a fade out for the latter at a certain time mark. He played blocks of Middle Eastern music at our request, and coordinated easily with our planner and also the belly dancer. Everything was perfect, no mistakes. He has a good sense of what the crowd might like and checked in a few times to see if we wanted any musical genre shifts. It was easy to get special songs to him via Spotify in advance. Everyone was dancing all night, which is what we wanted. Even the venue manager commented that he'd not seen so many avid dancers at a wedding! Highly recommend!”

As a Cambodian-American bride, with a strong identity to both cultures, I was having a hard time finding someone who could capture the essence of what it’s like to grow up and listen to Khmer music and mainstream American music and have all your memorable experiences be shaped by that. I am so so grateful I found Madlove and that they were able to deliver exactly what I wanted and recreate that nostalgia, but also they paid attention to the crowd and what they were feeling. My name is Melinda, and I’m the DJ of MadLove. My love for music started as a kid, heavily influenced by my older sister, which led to my deep appreciation for ‘90s and early 2000s R&B. Over time, my passion grew, and through my experience in the wedding industry, I’ve expanded my music library to cater to all genres. Transitioning from the nightclub scene to weddings was a complete 180, but the warmth and love we received from the wedding community made me stay.
