Fusion Function
We actually found Fusion Function while they were DJing my cousin’s wedding. We met DJ Stix and told him about our upcoming wedding. We shared that I’m Puerto Rican and my husband is Haitian, and he immediately seemed excited about the idea of blending music from both of our cultures. From that moment, we knew that we needed Fusion Function to provide DJ services for our wedding. Sid and the entire team were amazing to work with from start to finish—super responsive, organized, and just genuinely great people. We specifically had DJ Stix and MC Excell. They kept everything flowing smoothly and made sure the energy never dropped for a second. Music was really important to us, and they absolutely nailed it. The transitions were seamless, the mix felt intentional, and somehow every song hit at exactly the right moment. Fusion Function gave us everything we wanted. They blended music from both our cultures while incorporating top hits and some R&B classics. My husband and I also realized we never picked out a last song, but we fully trusted DJ Stix to choose for us. Stix picked a song that matched the vibe of our wedding day perfectly and created such a special moment for us. It’s something we’ll truly never forget.

Fusion Function was the perfect wedding DJ for our special day! From the moment I met Sid at the wedding expo in Quincy, MA, I knew he would be a great fit. Sid was reliable, punctual, and a fast responder throughout the planning process, and he was always respectful and professional in our communications. On the day of the wedding, Fusion Function truly delivered - they were adaptable to our needs, engaging the crowd with their energy and ability to read the room, and simply amazing at keeping the dance floor packed all night long. August 2025 Wedding
We hired DJ El Sid for our August 9th, 2025 wedding, and our reception was an absolute banger. Sid is super talented and is great at reading the crowd likely because he still actively DJs at clubs which is exactly what we were looking for. He had everyone on their feet dancing from our younger crowd of friends and cousins to our older family and friends. You know it’s a good party when you have a dachshund do the limbo and the men’s ties transfer to their head haha. We got SO many compliments on the DJ from our guests! Additionally, Sid did a fantastic job with the ceremony and grand entrances and dances, and MCing. We had 2-3 planning meetings with him via Zoom before the wedding, which were super helpful to get to know each other, ask questions, and share our music tastes and wishes. Fusion function also had an app where we could upload our songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances, first dances, and reception to keep everything organized and give Sid a vibe for our music style. Our wedding was an epic party to remember thanks to DJ El Sid!
