Amazing HMU Artist - Highly Recommend!
I highly recommend Hair and Makeup by Sophia, she was amazing to work with for my wedding! Through the planning process, Sophia was very detailed and transparent about the pricing, the day-of schedule, and the overall HMU process. Her thorough approach helped build my confidence as we tweaked details in our trials. Sophia brought a friendly, relaxed energy to the morning of the wedding as well! When it came time for myself, she tackled my bridal look with ease, and her confident execution calmed my nerves and brought even more excitement to my day. The hair and makeup easily lasted the entire day/night and looked amazing in person and in photos - I highly recommend her!

Bride
Book Sophia for your next event! She is professional, communicative, listens and works with you to create the perfect look AND is super cool to hang out with on your wedding day. I don't wear makeup and never even blow dry my hair so I was super nervous about the hair and makeup process, feeling like it just didn't fit me. Sophia was very patient and reassuring. She knew exactly what to do to make me feel gorgeous and natural and like myself!

Perfect makeup!!
I have worked with Sophia for three weddings. As a bride and as a bridesmaid, Sophia made me look and feel like my best self. Sophia was a dream to work with during the planning process of my wedding. She was extremely organized and helped me to make sure that my day-of timeline was efficient. At my makeup trial, Sophia took her time and made sure I was happy with every detail of my makeup, pausing and checking in throughout the process. On the morning of my wedding, Sophia was prepared and punctual. Her calm presence in the busy room helped me to feel at ease and relaxed. As she did my makeup, we sang throwback songs together and laughed. When Sophia worked on family members that were less comfortable with certain parts of the makeup process, Sophia made them feel comfortable and safe with her. She assured everyone that they could try things, and if they didn’t like them they could change up the plan. She made both my mom and mother-in-law feel comfortable and confident trying false eyelashes for the first time. Sophia helped everyone feel beautiful and happy! Over the course of the year as we progressed through the three weddings, I got to know Sophia on a personal level. We learned about each other's families and interests and she became more than a makeup artist, but a friend. I can’t recommend Sophia enough!!

Gorgeous Wedding Hair
Sophia was such a pleasure to work with, she did my hair as well as my 4 bridesmaids hair and my mother’s makeup. She is so speedy and does such an incredible job as well as a joy to work with. I cannot thank her enough for making me and my girls look great.

Perfect
Sophia was an absolute delight to work with for my wedding! From the very first conversation, they were timely, responsive, and incredibly helpful in planning the perfect look for my big day. On the wedding day, her work was truly stunning - my makeup stayed flawless throughout the entire event, even as I cried happy tears and sweated on the dance floor. My hair also didn't budge an inch until I was ready to take it down at the end of the night. The quality of her work was exceptional, and exactly what I had envisioned.
