From developing black and white images in the darkroom to capturing day-to-day happenings as photo manager of the high school yearbook, my camera became an extension of me. Fast forward ten years and I’ve gone on to complete my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and clinical to become a registered dietitian nutritionist. I’ve had a thriving career at UVA Medical Center for the past five years and witnessed firsthand both the value and fragility of human life.
